We booked the two-hour tour to discover the Charlevoix crater. We met our guide in Baie St-Paul, hopped into his van and headed out of town. We visited about 5 diffferent sites in the countryside where our guide explained the natural and geological history of the region. We were able to see the center of the crater (Mont des éboulements) and its outer ring 30 km in the distance. This was a very informative tour that we recommend to anyone interested in the subject. It really changed our way to look at this region. Our guide, Mr. Lessard, was friendly and very knowledgeable.
