奥塔哥博物馆

Had trouble parking so could only stay 2 hours. Not enough time to get around Well worth visiting,especially on a cool and cloudy day.Looked a good restaurant but did not have time to visit.

Always enjoyable. Plenty for children to see and be involved in. Due to the heat in the butterfly area it can be a bit overwhelming for little ones, keep it fairly short here and spend time in the activity area. This is marvellous too. The cafe is good and the little gift shop delightful. Coming here is a good back up for the holidays and somewhere you can return to and is always stimulating and good fun.

go there!! there are well done views on history, very good to reach by foot .... ...... .... ..... ...... .....

If you are interested in an organized layout of animals, cataloged in order, with interesting bits of information, this is the museum for you. I learned much, just wandering around looking at the exhibits. It was raining that day in Dunedin, so it was a perfect day out.

interesting place. Not only for the building itself, but for the eclectic and varied way it is furnished. There is a definite point of view demonstrated in the objects that have been collected and displayed. A good peek into how the rich lived in those not too distant times

A brilliant museum to visit with something for everyone - not only history but modern history as well - leave plenty of time to browse as there is so much to see

The old part of the Otago Museum called the Animal Attic is a classic Natural History environment. The Maori, Pacific Island and Settler's exhibits are very well done and updated. Love this place on a rainy day!

Our boys aged 6 and 2 loved the Animal Attic. This is a nice museum, wish we could have spent longer there. Only had an hour so we rushed through but thoroughly enjoyed what we did see.

This museum is huge! Great to get the history of Dunedin and its historical links with Melbourne Australia. A terrific place to visit!

Visited this museum twice. So much to see and remembered my camera the second time! On several floors, it's best to visit during the week, when you almost have the place to yourself. Weekend's are very crowded. It's very well laid out and there's so much of interest. Take your time to fully appreciate it.
