This was a better than I thought, the Huon River was very beautiful and the ride was exciting. The jet boat driver really knew the river well and gave us a few scares that turned into fun

A wonderful experience, We went with other adult family members and everybody had enjoyed it, great for young families as well. Value for money. They also make home made scallop pies and they were delicious. The staff members are also very friendly and helpful. A great time.

Had so much fun! Kids are 7 and 5 and loved it! John, our guide/driver was brilliant. Stopping to show us things along the way and give us a bit of info on the area. He is pretty calm and laid back, which was good for someone who isn't a huge fan of boats (especially fast ones!) Highly recommend for anyone looking for a bit of a thrill!

Stop off at the Huon Jet Boats on the Esplanarde at Huonville .Cruise up the beautiful Huon River Conquer the rapids,view the magestic Sea Eagles posing on a high branch as if to say "don;t we look great" The Driver gave a interesting and friendly overview of the history of thr river and areaWe even saw the huge sea eagkes nest high in the trees .Make sure you enjoy this spectacular exciting river experience.Afterward you can enjoy refreshments in the cafe overlooking the calm waters,share witha duck or two and some fish swimming just below the water surface.Very easy level access

if your up for a Very Exciting and Hairy ride up the Huon River. Cruising up and over the Rapids. Enjoying the Friendly and Informative Driver all the way. Just about a 45minute drive from Hobart to Huonville, after going right through the Main Street,then turn right before crossing the Huon River, then another 1/2 k down to the Huon Jet Boat, past a Lovely Picknic & BBQ area beside the River.

Amazing action packed fun even in the rain. Well worth the trip out to Huonville from Hobart. Friendly and informative staff.

Adrenalin rush to the max. We have been lucky enough to enjoy previous Jet Boat rides & thought we would entertain our travelling partners to this experience. Due to the only Jet Boat ride now available in Tasmania this was the only option & they weren't disappointed. The driver was certainly cheeky & full of good humour & knowledge to keep us all entertained. His knowledge of the area was due to his local farming background which helped understand the workings of this delightful river. We were lucky to enjoy perfect weather with 6 plus skipper which made a comfortable ride. The skipper was at all times aware of our safety & warned us always when 360 turns were about to stun the passengers. Loads of fun had by all. Would certainly recommend a adrenalin rush for that holiday highlight.

Always find time to visit Huon Jet Boats when I'm in this area. Love the ride! I have never been disappointed. A bit expensive but well worth it :)

We had an awesome time on the Huon Jet Boat ride!! It was my first time on one of these, although I have wanted to do it for a long time, was not disappointed, They are extremely friendly and took many photos of our trip for us. Even our 3 year old grandson had a ball. Well worth doing!!

Had a blast on the Jet Boats at Huon River. It was amazing & slightly frightening how little amount of water is needed for this thing. Came extremely close to trees & rocks & plenty of 360s that threw you around the boat. All of this in one gorgeous setting.

Although quite expensive for a relatively short time, well worth the money. We were the only two people on the jet boat - advise from receptionist to book for the first ride if possible, and had a great time out on the river with Andrew, the driver. He was very informative about the area and very skilful in operating the boat at high speed. Those spins were fantastic. The receptionist was also very friendly and took some great photographs of us before we went out on the boat. $15.00 for the CD of photographs of us and several shots of the river is a tad on the expensive side - but only going to be doing it once.

Booked this expecting it to be similar to other jet boat experiences around Australia and New Zealand. It really is more comparable to a scenic river cruise with commentary. There are a few 360 degree spins in the boat, but it certainly isn't the adrenaline pumping adventure you would expect. Our tour went for 40 minutes but I understand depending on the tide it can be longer. The staff were all lovely but at $78 per person it is very over priced.

Unfortunately, I was the sole occupier of my ride on the Huon Jet. Every aspect was just beautiful, it was a little overcast & rainy, so the smell of the Huon Pines was magnificent.My only criticism is the price - $75 when going with a group, $100 on your own.I would definitely recommend going with a group. The $75 is money well spent - the $100 not so much.

Amazing time had on the Huon Jet Boat! Fantastic scenery and friendly and informative driver. Recommend to all. Will definitely go again.

We did the Huron jet recently, had not been on a jet boat before so built up an expectation of an adrenaline packed trip, far from it, seemed more like a normal boat ride only other than the fact you were able to travel in shallow water. Thought the experience was a bit expensive for the short time you were on the boat, not sure if we felt a little let down due to having done the bruny island cruise the day before which could not be beaten. Driver of the jet boat was friendly and informative, the ride was by no means bad, but I was nonplussed by the experience. Suggest to make your own mind up on this one, but if given the choice I would suggest the bruny island cruise even if it is completely different type of experience
