Really. Lovely. Chocolate. The dark-choc coated macadamias with cinnamon are LOVELY and so are the truffles :) We didn't eat at the cafe but will definitely visit next time we go to Tassie. We liked the museum and pretty grounds too.

Range of specialist chocolates. Good quality and reasonably priced. Chocolate museum was interesting and also you could watch chocolates being made.

Dear "Helen M", thank you for your recent review of our business. We are so glad you enjoyed your morning at Anvers with a stop for food and a look around with the children. The reason we open for business at 7am every day is to catch the travellers off the Spirit. This is always an early docking time and we love that they can begin their holiday with chocolate, what could be more perfect!

A great place to stop and indulge. The Chocolate museum was very interesting and well worth a look. The café was very busy and the viewing platform was mouth-watering. The ice-creams were everyone's favourite stop in our group and the chocolate shop was full of great selections too.Well worth a visit.

We have put a lot of effort into our museum, and we often change the displays around as we have more antiques than we can currently house. A trip to Anvers chocolate factory just out of Devonport is worth the trip. With yummy tastings and sales. Also shows you how its made.

Good to be able to view the chocolates being made and to browse in the museum section.Very tasty chocolates -great to be able to taste quite a few types before making a selection.And then......the chili hot chocolate and coffee- wow! The restaurant menu looked great .

Igor, the founder, have brought to life the Chocolate place for visitors to enjoy and for local people to have employment. Free samples of truffles and fudge were very appreciated.

Anvers is always our first stop after we get off The Spirit. The reason we go is the service is excellent and the food simply outstanding. We go for a cooked breakfast, the croissants and salmon baguette are delicious. Tried their lunch fare and sweets too. The waffles are fantastic. There is a shop that opens at 9 which sells hand made chocolates. They are little morsels of heaven. The mandarine or raspberry filled chocolates are worth the boat trip alone. I have recommended this place to so many friends and they all come back raving. Great spot for a lovely meal or snack and to buy some take away chocolates too!

Thought we'd stop for a bite of lunch. Stuffed mushroom caps for me, delish, and two giant waffles for the moth, with pots of cream, ice cream, and thick chocolate sauce on the side.......very very moorish, but the diabetis council would fall over if they saw it!! We loved loved loved it tho!!

Yum.Yum Yum YumIt was a beautiful experience. Not advised for those watching their calories, but Jane and myself being fit walkers, and on holiday, gave the range of Chocs a good sampling, then stocked up for our Tas holiday. Recommended. Thank you friendly staff.

It's ok. But I wouldn't say it's much more than that. The chocolate is better than the processed you buy in the store but far from the best we've ever had. If you're going past it's worth a stop, but nothing to write home about.

If you like chocolate, then don't drive past without stopping. It's a must. The tasting room is a small but delightful room. Don't over indulge as you can wander over to the cafe for some brunch/lunch or just a tea/coffee,
