It was fun and the area is beautiful, but not many bathroom opportunities if you are female. Be sure to take a good sunscreen, and re-apply several times!

Depending on the water level the wave trains can be really big and bouncy. Great fun class three whitewater in Ecuador.

Novice white water kayakers but had a great time and the scenery was beautiful. The water was not too rough though it had rained the night before. We ate lunch on a small beach along the river.

White water rafted and kayaked on the river with Gary's tours, it was awesome, safe and would recommend Gary's tours for your adventures on this river.

I have been kayaking in Ecuador for 5 years and this is one of my favorite runs. Super fun wavetrains full of big splashy waves. Nice scenery as well.

We went with Limoncocha rafting (at Limoncocha hostel) reasonable price ($55-65). Fantastic fun and a great guide. Ecuadorian rafting champion and great sense of humour

We had a great time on the river with Phillip, our guide from Rios Ecuador. Felt safe the entire time, even though the river was high and the ride was exilerating!

Today I went rafting with my friends and I would recommend this to every group of friends or family, there are different ways to go down the river but every single one is amazing. Most important of all, its safe and fun. Don't think to much about, just do it!

I went today on a whitewater rafting trip with Agua Xtreme and loved it. Very fun and adventurous. Our guide was Diego, who I highly recommend. I had rafted with their company over 6 years ago and he was still there. Safety is a big priority in the crucial moments, but in the calm moments they are all fun and carefree. They are located near the pedestrian bridge by Cafe Tortuga and Pizzeria Bella Selva.

Went rafting with River People on this river. It was a class 3. The river is wide With good rapids. It was a lot of fun.

The views are just breathtaking , a MUST ! I went White water rafting and had an amazing perspective of the river, we had great fun, tense moments, superb swimming and to TOP all this UNIQUE views !!

Great for someone that wants to have fun. I believe this is a drop pool river where you do rapids and then have a break of flat water and then rapids again.

I booked through Amazon Adventures (located near river next to Cavemen tours). My guide was great and they are very safe. They will take photos and video of your raft trip and don't charge you extra. Cavemen (altough I didnt use) was very helpful in giving me advice on other fun things to do in Tena

AguaExtreme is not currently on tripadvisor, but we went with them after sitting and visiting with them. We could not have been happier. Diego, our guide, speaks excellent English/Spanish. He was incredibly knowledgeable, and it was obvious that safety on each tour was first priority. The river was super fun, even in the dry season (July). I highly recommend the river and the tour company AguaExtreme!

I had a terrific time rafting with River People tours. Their motto is the Whitewater Family. They truly make you feel like one of the family. The guide that we had was named Venancio, and he was extremely good. He made fun conversation and did a great job of asking questions to see how much "excitement" that we were looking for.Lunch was sensational! I could not believe that the lunch was that good out of a cooler that was kept on one of the rafts. We ate it in a super cool secluded spot under a straw roofed shelter.Overall a great trip.
