If all you know is the malecon of Salinas, it is nice to go to the other side of the Yacht Club and see Chipipe. There is not a malecon, but the beach is expansive and quite nice. The water is also calmer than the malecon side.

This is the best of all beaches around Salinas. A group gets together every other Tuesday for fun and games. Fantastic beach!!!

Several vendors with chairs, tents, and umbrellas. One in particular, located in the middle area of the beach, had an elderly father who also sold beer and other beverages. When I asked for more than one cervesas, he went and got a cooler of ice for no additional charge. Only negative is all of the venders selling sunglasses, jewelry, live lobsters, and anything else you could carry. Not too crowded and better than malacon area to the North.

This beautiful , clean quiet white sand beach is away from the main malecon in Salinas and is much nicer...less noise, cleaner . There are still vendors if you would like a cold drink or some lunch.

Chipipe is an awsome beach about 10 minutes walk from the Melancon in Salinas....exotic bird on the beach if you go early in the morning

This beach gently slopes into the sea, the Malecon is overshadowed by highrises, which means cool mornings and warm breeze afternoons, the vender are on the beach and there a number of small shops that serve this area, this is a great place relax and forget where you should be.

It was fantastic walk along this beach... I remember thre wasn't sun and the temperature was perfect.

Probably best place to buy a condo for folks like me who like it a tad quieter than Salinas. Beautiful newer condos for the most part.No restaurant row on beach like Salinas

I like to use this beach to walk through the water. Not many people between 7:30 and 8:30, and most of the time you'll see little fish swimming in the tide.

This beach is outstanding! It is clean, the water is clear and calm. The police presence helped make it always feel safe, without being annoying. The vendors make it a fun atmosphere, without being a menace quickly move on when they are told politely that you are not interested. Of course the sunny weather is just the icing on the cake!

es mas linda que la playa de salinas. estas mas tranquilo, y es mas espaciosa la playa! se alquilan reposeras y sombrillas x 5 dolares, y es recomendable hacerlo por que el sol es muy fuerte en Ecuador!

Es una playa muy linda, abierta, de gente de gran poder adquisitivo, no tiene piedras, sino arena, que eso es bueno verlo en salinas

Creo que esta playa es la mejor de todo Salinas...el mar es bastante tranquilo y super limpio...incluso si eres buen nadador puedes nadar mar adentro sin problemas hasta las grandes boyas.

Me encanto!! Vale la pena correrse un poquito del centro. Limpia, se pueden alquilar sombrillas y reposeras. Aguas abiertas y cálidas para nadar. Mucho mejores que las del centro.
