There isn't much to see here except the views of Medellin. There is one building with rooms set up with antiques but all the other buildings are shops for trinket vendors. The food options aren't great either. My 4-year-old boys were quite bored after a few minutes and they weren't old enough to appreciate the museum. If you have an hour to spare, I would make the trek up there to check out the view. But I would not put this on your list of must-see activities. There are many other places in Medellin to get a comparable view.
I walked up here in March 2015. I took the direct path to the top and I was pretty wrecked when I reached the top, I came back via the art sculptures. It's a nice place to view the city with plenty of places to grab a drink and chill out. It is also free and would be good for tiring out the kids.
This visit was very nice, specially for the views of the city and the look at how the villages of Antioquia might have looked. The buildings were very pretty and the total atmosphere lent itself to a very pleasant morning finished with a couple of cold Club Colombia while looking at the wiews.
Cute little preview of what the little towns look like. However, lots of genuine town like this one are not but a few hours away. If you go during the week, it is not very crowded. there are a few places to eat there, but we didn’t go to any. there were quite a few shops with souvenirs as well. The views of the city on a clear day are incredible.
Overall the place is poorly maintained with comida chatarra in abundance. Apart from the views the photgraphic museum showing early years pics is of some interest.
good spot for lunch or just to walk a while. great view of the city and a nice museum of medellin history as well
Lindo y acogedor... te transporta a la antigua vida en colombia, y es la mejor vista de la ciudad de Medellín. Es un obligado al visitar la ciudad.Cute and cozy it takes you to the old days in colombia, very traditional.its the best view of the town.
you can still see this type of city if you go out into the country. the view is great from the top and worth a hour or so to see it. you get to see a nice view of the whole city.
This wasnt all that interesting for the history but more for the beautiful panoramic view on the roof top. It is free and the taxi cost us 7000 pesos from the city center. It is good to go around sunset to be able to see it during the night as all the lights around the city turn on. Safe place.
This place would be very nice to visit if it wasn't for the crowd. It was Saturday afternoon and the place was totally packed. Otherwise it is interesting with a picturesque old town square, church and houses. Plenty of fast food like chorizos etc. One restaurant type of place with seating outside. There are a few viewing areas - Medellin looks amazing from every angle. I'd go there again at a different time to be able to enjoy more. Also I was told by a local that it's brilliant at and after sunset.
is the copy of a real little town in Colombia you find every needed place in a small town, city hall, restaurant, church, school, beaty salon etc.
Antioquan (? hope i'm correct ... ) LOVE this place. I believe it remember the country Colombian small village and their young age... Small museum and street vendor. Good view of the city.
Nice views if its clear. Otherwise truly a waste of time. Don't bother. There is nothing there. We drove 15 minutes and no reason why.
Pueblito Paisa, it is a very good “replicate” at the top of the Nutibara mountain, where we sat together to eat the “Bandeja Paisa”at Cacique Restaurant. We loved it!!!
View of entire city. Great and quite. There is just one restaurant, food ok.One or two stores to buy some handcrafts and not much more than that. But totally great place to take pictures.
