The place it's always crowded with people, especially when it's sunny day. 1780's was beginning of building a street on the place where was until then a beach.
Visited today beautiful Christmas decorations many market stalls selling festive goods.A young girls group singing and dancing. Many coffee bars and restaurant bars. Designer Shops in pedestrian area with many pretty Austro/ Hungarian buildings unfortunately many in a bad state of repair. A few rooftop bars great for views of sea. In my opinion the best part of Rijeka
As a citizen and not just visitor, I can say that Korzo is the main street in the city centre, pedestrians only, with a selection of shops, cafes, even hostels, and nearby are the city museums and other attractions. It's a great place to plan a meet in Rijeka, for a stroll through the shops, maybe for a coffee or drink, and I recommend doing some research first to appreciate the sights. Korzo is especially exciting during Karneval, which takes place in February.
I liked the variety of shops and restaurants along this street, and the fact that it was a pedestrian street.
Good place to drink some cocktails and have a conversation. It is not crowded and I didn't see good shops.
This is the main street in Rijeka. It is nice but there's nothing spectacular about it. There are lots of bars and shops and lots of people everyday at anytime.
The only place we saw in Rijeka, on the way to Opatija, where we stay for two nights. We spend one pleasant hour, walking and enjoying really beautifull buildings of great architecture ,drinking coffee and buying the famous Croatian chocolates. Has some shops and mostly cafes, is few metres from seaside and is the most clean pedestrian street i ever seen. I have good relaxing memories of Korzo.
There are lots of bars, cafes and shops on this street. We liked to walk there in the evenings and visit one of the places to have a snack or a drink.
We visited Rijeka on 31.7.2014 and walked the shopping street Korzo. Nice buildings, many ships, restaurants and bars. We did some shopping, eating Chinese food and enjoyed it.
The Korzo looks great, wide pedestrian street crowded all the time. There is unusualy small number of caffes and restuants (only one chinese restuarant and McD). Nice walk and cheap cocktails
Rijeka is the principal seaport and the third largest city in Croatia (after Zagreb and Split). It is located on Kvarner Bay, an inlet of the Adriatic Sea. In the center on Korzo is a big clock-tower.
The real medirran life is on the streett. Coffee and chatting people, walking and chatting, sitting and chatting. The life doesn`t ending in the night. Must see place!
Very crowded with tourists, Korzo offers you the chance to have a good evening walk, or a good daytime coffee. Lots and lots of cafes, with fair prices. Not so many restaurants, but if you try near Korzo, you'll find good places to eat. Also, nice street for shopping amateurs, if you know what i mean. Nice buldings around, there's a big clock-tower, beautiful and stylish.
It's in the center of Rijeka. beautiful area for pedestrians. Beautiful houses, nice restaurants and cafes. There is also free wi-fi in the area! easy to hang out and spend time there.
Korzo is a central city street offering a lot of nice cafes and a lot of people passing by. The street could be much more clean and kept but any way it is nice to see it and walk arround.
