Just love the resort, conditions were perfect. No queuing for lifts, fab places for lunch/drinks/après ski fun. I just keep going back!
Definitely one of my favorite ski places!!! Look forward to returning every year. Great slopes and restaurants to spend the day on the slopes. Ski areas are great with lot of variety.
Almost every year, starting 1997, I spend one or two weeks in oberguegl-hochgurgl ski area. It's incomparable due to the top service, no lines , all types of cleaned slopes. You will enjoy skiing here.
Picturesque ski areas, some great views from the tops of the mountains.Good resort for beginners/intermediates, maybe lacking challenging runs for those looking for some tough reds and blacksWe'll maintained pistes
I am a very nervous intermediate skier and Hochgurgl in particular was the best place I have ever skied. Beautiful wide runs, bars, restaurants, great views.
runs are great for all levels ,all sit ski slopes for better ski, lifts and gondolas network are will connected to all spots of the mountains.
Amazing location, great skiing at high altitude and loads of lovely places to eat. Stunning scenery and good skiing right through the season due to altitude
This area is perfect for learners and intermediate skiers. The pistes are very wide and gentle and allow long easy cruises leading to nice leisurely lunches. Perfect for couples.
Cruisy blues, wide reds and enough blacks to keep husband entertained. We love it. Wonderful ski schools. Austrians are also fab at Après Ski.
high high high for Austria. Set at the head of the valley, there's a kind of "bowl" feel to the area, with quite flat light on the duller days. A bit of sun made all the difference. Enormous blue/red cruisey ski fields. Many runs merge into one another and overlap or criss-cross - you can ski just about anywhere over a very large area. A few really long runs. Lacking a bit in variety, challenge and pretty runs. |A week is. enough for anyone past the beginner stage. Nothing in resort except hotel and skishops. Best for beginners and early intermiediates.
Good slopes in perfect condition. Very easy to keep the group or family together. No long waiting times in lifts.
great maintenance of the slopes, everything working perfect with the small shadow of a rather small number of slopes. Just about OK for a week of hard ski.
Best skiing ever! It's well worth a visit great for families of all abilities!Amazing ski school, slopes are well prepared, no queues for the lifts, lots of places to eat with stunning views and everyone is so friendly, highly recommended
Efficient lift system, great snow record, runs for all the family . Plenty of good mountain restaurants & a vast ski area that never really feels crowded.
The Obergurl and Hochgurgl areas are linked by a cable car or by the regular bus along the bottomThere is a good infrastructure and there are minimal queues. Theres lots of red and blue runs. The blacks may not challenge expert adrenaline junkies but the off piste is easily accessible. The mountain restaurants are well located with good food .
