Ideal to visit during a hot afternoon as temperatures inside the cave are constantly at 17°C. Guided tours every 30min until 7pm, 5€ entrance fee.

Very nice attraction with adequate history. The guide was a bit unprofessional yet he delivered a good job. This is surely one of the things i would recommend to anyone visiting Kythira. Get ready to drive in some rather steep roads as it is not easy to reach this place. Also have trainers with you as its quite slippery in the cave.

It was well worth finding the cave - the atmosphere, history and location are amazing, the guide was informative and made the visit very enjoyable!

What I love in Greece - you can enter caves on your own risk. No admission but no steps, no light, no guide. If you bring your own light and you are not claustrophob - enter. If you go a bit deeper into the cave - you will com out a "bit" dirty because it is wet and slippery!

Το σπήλαιο έχει 10 αίθουσες με σταλακτίτες και σταλαγμίτες, που η λαϊκή φαντασία τους έδωσε διάφορα ονόματα όπως, Λουτρά της Αφροδίτης, αίθουσα του Κεχριμπαριού, (με σταλακτίτες σε κόκκινες αποχρώσεις λόγω του σιδήρου), Πλάκα, αίθουσα των Κυπαρισσιών ή του θρόνου, Σαγόνια του καρχαρία, Χταπόδι. Το σπήλαιο παράγει ακόμη και σήμερα σταλακτίτες και σταλαγμίτες.Το σπήλαιο είναι ανοικτό για το κοινό από 1 Ιουλίου έως 31 Αυγούστου και ώρες 11.00 π.μ - 19.00 μ.μ με συνοδεία ξεναγού. Είσοδος 5 ευρώ, φοιτητικό παιδικό 2 ευρώ

Πολύ ωραία ξενάγηση απο τον Παναγιώτη, διαθέτει 2 ξεναγους που μπαίνουν εναλλάξ στο σπήλαιο για ξεναγηση σε Αγγλικά και Ελληνικά,διαρκει σχεδον μιση ώρα, τα λιγα σημεία του σπηλαίου που χρειάζονται προσοχη στα βήματα σε προειδοποιεί, απογορευται το φλας στις φωτογραφίεςτιμη εισοδου 5 ευρω και 2 για φοιτητές

la cosa incredibile di quest'attrazione e senza dubbio la misticita' che l'accompagna...difatti la spettacolosita' delle formazioni calcaree e il bel percorso agevole per raggiungerla la presenza di pozze d'acqua cristallina che si formano sono elementi abbastanza comuni ...ma che quest'antro fosse adibito a luogo di culto con tando di chiesetta affrescata all'interno la fa' diventare unica nel suo genere...un luogo da scoprire inserendolo nel tour del vicino sito del castello veneziano e delle fonti con cascata della vicinissima cittadina di Mylopotamos.....
