What a treat we went to a performance of the amazing 'Cadre Noir'. After the show we were able to look around the stables & meet the horses what a lovely way to spend a morning. Make sure you book before you go.

If you are a horse lover don't miss to visit the Cadre Noir in Saumur! These extraordinary place stirs the blood of every horse rider!!!

The facility is new and the shows are very well done. It's for the horsey set, but folks with an appreciation for beautiful and graceful animals will enjoy the trip.

We took three young girls (6-8) to this weekly summer show. Whilst we were able to book on the day, you were able to book on-line and bring the email to get entry (this was not made clear on thee website)This was a great show of mainly dressage. There was only some english from the announcer but the horses do the talking. Afterwards you can wander around the stables and thus may not require to return in the afternoon for the tour.

We did the tour of the horses and stables and loved every minute of this. Then we were lucky enough to attend an evening performance. These horses and riders are so talented.

What a jaw dropper! The Cadre Noir show was outstanding - horsemanship and equine demonstrations that were truly incredible. A definite must if in or near the area. Lovely to walk around the stable yard.

Wonderful morning visit and tour of stables and attended Gala event in the evening. The sheer beauty and discipline of man and horse was breathtaking.

Spent a great morning at the "presentation" of the Cadre Noir. The horses and trainers were superb, the show was well presented and we passed an excellent morning.We returned in the afternoon for the "guided tour" and were unfortunately, a little disappointed.We were in a group with between 40 and 50 other people. It was more than a bit chaotic and this detracted from our enjoyment. Considering the price of the tickets, between 5 and 9 euros pp, depending on packages and offers, I don't feel it was necessary for such large groups.I hope this was simply because it was the afternoon following a presentation, in which case, I would advise people to avoid these days.Shame about the group size, other than that, very enjoyable !!

We had the privilege of visiting Cadre Noir during one of its formal presentations. The horses were beautiful and their performance was first class. We went to the stables after the show and enjoyed our time visiting with the horses.

We were in Saumur in June when one of the Cadre Noir demonstrations took place. It was a truly wonderful display with some additional highlights. The whole audience were appreciative of the skill of the riders and the relationship between the horse and rider.It was nice to be able to walk around the stables afterwards and see the beautiful horses and the excellent facilities. My husband is not that interested in horses but he thoroughly enjoyed the demonstration and the music which accompanied it. For anyone training here it must be a fantastic opportunity.A very worthwhile visit

We had a tour of the facility and was totally impressed, especially if you are a horse lover! We had the opportunity to see a performance there and my grand daughter absolutely loved it! Class performance by beautiful horses and professional riders! Very enjoyable!

We arranged a visit around the morning demonstration, and got to look around the stables and see them warming up - absolutely stunning insight into the School. The demonstration was brilliant - even for those who are non-horsey! A must if in the area.
