Ordinary food and service at an expensive price for the quality provided. clean but crowded and noisy as is only to be expected in a tourist attraction.

Lovely walk through beautiful gardens and plenty of seating for meditation! It was a lovely sunny day so we hit at the right time. This also is within walking distance of Burns Cottage and Museum.

A number of artifacts about Robert Burns but it was a bit boring if you didn't know the man. The cottage where he was born seemed a bit soulless. Alright if you are NT member, otherwise a bit expensive to take guests.

Great staff, super food, good toilets, great location near to all Burns related sites. Didn't visit museum but of you're into Burns sure it must be worth checking out.

If you are a Robert Burns fan, this is a must see. If not, you will still enjoy your visit. Be sure to NOT miss the gardens, monument and the Brig o' Doon Bridge. They are all worth the walk.

I didn´t know about Burns before our visit and I could get a complete idea about his life and works in the place. It is comfortable, spacious, very tidy and the gardens were very interesting to walk through, with drawings, paintings, sculptures and glasses showing nice sentences from a poet who loved women

The gardens are really pleasant for a stroll through and it is interesting to see the monument. It's worth going down to the river for a look at the Brig o' Doon.

The gardens were still blooming in October. So nice to see rose bushes and other gorgeous blooms at this time of the year. I kinda felt like I was in church. It was time to take in a deep breath and relax.

It will be a shame to miss out on a visit to the monument and the gardens as part of the whole "Burns" experience. You can also take in a walk over the Brig "o" Doon and see where "Maggie" lost her tail!

Spent a good few hours admiring the wonderful gardens and scenery.. Another great sunny day. Used to come here with my Parents as a Child now I bring my Daughter.. Very peaceful...

Visitors should park in the Burns Museum car park and can have a snack or meal, have a look round the shop, or pay to go round the museum, before a walk round their gardens. A rear gate give access to a short path which leads to the Burns Monument gardens, which are kept lovely all year round (we walk our dogs around the gardens most days). From the gardens you can see the Brig O'Doon bridge (and hotel gardens) and one of the exits leads out at the bridge to allow a closer look. The views from the bridge are lovely. The Burns Cottage is a 10 minute walk away (for someone reasonable fit) along the main road into Alloway village. There is a free buggy which runs during the summer from the front of the Museum along poet's path and stops a few hundred yards from the cottage.

A fitting tribute to the man himself. A pleasure to walk through the gardens and see the lovely array of flora and fauna. Well worth a visit. Free entrance.

...and worth an hour or two. The Brig O'Doon (Bridge over the river Doon) is neat to put your own feet on after years of reading about it in boring English Lit courses.Seeing where Tam O'Shanter made his escape brings poetry to life and makes those boring English Lit courses worth it..In a different location a short distance away, a visit to the cemetery where Burn's father is buried allows a reading of Burn's poignant epitaph for his father.

These gardens were beautiful. Let's ignore the three statues of little fat people and concentrate on the flowers and the view. Excellent.

We visited the hame and then the surrounding connected items and museum, all excellent as as NT members in England we were pleasantly surprised to find rather than pay concessionary fees it was actually free
