I have used the Town Hall for many reasons, Acting, Exhibitions and I've even been a member of the audience. You can see from every seat, although I have objected before that there is no handrail, if you have to climb the stairs to a higher level of seat. I was told to book early on a low seating row. Not the answer I was looking for. This venue used to encourage local amateur groups but because of the cost of their lets, it has driven many groups to find alternate accommodation
Café and bar are well furnished and appear to have been remodelled recently. Prices are pretty standard and quality is good. The scones are very nice. caters to all tastes.
Fantastic venue for a live show . seating very well set out so no blind spots to stagevery very helpful staff lovely clean bar & toilets .look forward to going back
Great venue for a live show, not too big and the way so feels intimate the seating is placed don't get blocked by big people in front.
Used the town hall for many conventions over the years ,superb size well maintained ,clean toilets ,very near shops to have a stroll round ,Good size for weddings etc ,and many a good show or panto has been shown there.
Worth a visit as has cinema and good live shows. Worked there a few years back . Good live shows and has funny in Falkirk on at moment
Great place to see a concert, play comedy show, local theatre productions and more. The seating is excellent and you never feel far from the stage where ever you sit. You can also pre order your interval drinks at the bar.
I have been to concerts in the Town Hall and have found it to be very good. They are very accommodating of elderly people and people with disabilities.
Great variety on offer. Staff couldn't have been more helpful with some issues i had (no fault of theirs whatsoever), good prices, will be returning!
We've been to Falkirk Town Hall 3 times now - once to give blood, once for a show, and once for a concert. It's a great community venue and has a wide range of uses. The reception area is very small however so if it's a busy show get there early to avoid the crush.
I haven't been here for years but visited to see a show by the 'Falkirk Bohemians'. Had a great night. Easy to get to, the seating is comfortable with good legroom and the acoustics are good. The bar is easily accessible during the interval but just a tad pricey.
Ive been to the FTH now for quite a few occasions. Its nice enough, got ample parking etc, but sometimes I just wish that Falkirk actually had its own theatre, rather than try and make a hall into one. Saying that though, we've been at a few things there including the Bairns Christmas concert (which my mum is in each year so we dont really have a choice with that one), The Singing Kettle - this was a better venue than Stirling as the seats were graduated so the kids could see better. Anyway - all in all its fine, I just wish we had something a little more grand to represent Falkirk.
Nothing spectacular about this place, big, draughty but does have some good promotions on especially during the pantomime seasons.
