Douro 河两岸，式风长值得花些时间慢慢闲逛的，欣赏河上的船只来往，穿梭的各式游船或是停在河畔的酒庄载运小舟，构成一幅闲逸的景色。漫步在左岸，沿岸卖礼品的小店、或是靠著岸边的临时摊贩，即使所卖的东西大同小异，却也值得慢慢细细观赏，或许可以找到货真价实的小礼物带回家。右岸的酒庄群，挑选一家进入，品尝波多著名的波特酒，来了波多，怎可不小醉一翻?Douro 河两岸风光，值得品味!

It was easy to book any one of the boats, the tour up and down was well worth it. A different view of the city is lovely. €12.50 well spent, a relaxing morning after all the walking we did, visiting the many sites in the city.

The river and it's river sides are the places to see.Take a boat and cruse for an hour and see the river and the city from sea level. Both riversides look great at night.

By cruising down the Douro you can place yourself n the route where wines reached Europe for kings and regular people and the natural beauty of the waterway is only adorned by the towering city of Porto.

Beautiful landscapes, amazing atmosphere... there is no need to say anything more! I highly recommend also going to see Douro in its other parts, not only in Porto!

whether you only have a couple,of hours or a few days, take a trip on the river to enjoy the beauty of the city and its famous bridges. If you have a few days take a boat upriver to enjoy the beauty and peace of the countryside, and take the opportunity to visit a few port houses too!

We brought our lunches and ate on the boat cruising the river. Very pleasant way toview the river and eat lunch. They have a small drink shop on board and serve tea,coffee etc.

Very nice boat trip! The Douro river valley is very scenic, the vineyards terraced into the mountains are phenomenal. I highly recommend a day cruise where you go along the river through locks to the wine area and take a train back.

This lovely 50 minute boat trip along the Douro River gave a different view of this city. Tall cliffs on each side of the river together with the many different types of bridges were a pleasant alternative to the usual bus tours.

The river is dotted with restaurants on either side and its pleasant to just watch the world go by. I spent lots of time just walking along the river and enjoying the weather and view.

I have fond memories of Porto and the Douro. In Porto the Douro is lined with restaurants, bars and Port houses which are all nice to visit and full of charm. Outside of Porto the Douro River Valley is beautiful and less built up. There are small villages, vineyards where you can go for tastings and many other interesting sights and views to see. We only saw a small portion when we visited the area in June of 2014 but would like to go back to explore the area for Porto to Spain. Maybe on a river cruise.

We took the 50 min tour of the harbor that basically takes under all the bridges. I think it 8 euros. Lovely day and worth the price.

Take the opportunity on a sunny day to take one of the river tours advertised on the banks of Cais da Ribeira, it's definitely worth it. See the beautiful architecture of the city right from the centre of it all.

The Douro River is so nice ! In Oporto we can have a boat trip but really sensational is to go near the river to a trip to the Douro, a region of wines and vineyards that is amazing. If you can do that by water, is superb too, but I like to go by car and visit Douro, with the vineyards, good food and spectacular wines, and for a good price. A meal in Douro ( ok, not in the "tourist places " ) is about 10 €-15€/person and a bottle of wine around 7€. Try the Oporto wine after meal (red ) for a quiet and romantic evening, or a white Oporto Wine before the meal. for feel the Douro grapes on your lips !The best time to visit Douro is after the 15 September, when they are doing the wine harvest, for make the wine. But any time is good to know such a beautiful area !
