The art museum is on the second floor of the National Museum of Montenegro and is included on the Museum Ticket you can purchase at any of the participating museums.Excellent collection of art from religious to contemporary. We really enjoyed this museum. We were the only visitors on a Sunday afternoon (perhaps everyone else was outside enjoying coffee) but we saw some unexpectedly good art from many 20th century artists. I am really glad we went!

This museum is very interesting and had more to offer than most other museums, well worth the trip!!

People that work there say that there are painting from painters from all over the balkans, but 95% of the paintings are from domestic painters born in Cetinje. The painting are really nothing special, if you are not and artistic freak, you should probably go somewhere else, this is not for you.

This museum is in a very modern ugly building marring the nice central street in Cetinje. The museum was open but almost empty apart from remnants of an excibition of architecture.

Surprising amount of ancient and modern art - well worth a visit. A combined admission ticket for all the museums in Citinje can be purchased.

This is where the ancient, miracle-working icon of Our Lady of Philermos is currently kept, together with many other works of art (landscapes, portraits, abstracts, other icons...), but set apart in a chapel of its own. For centuries it was in the possession of the Knights of St John, who brought it with them after the fall of Rhodes to Malta. They still hold it precious. In the co-cathedral of St John, in Valletta, they show the side-chapel where the icon was kept.

Для нас это место было интересно тем, что именно здесь хранится Чудотворная Филермская Икона Божией Матери, икона с уникальной историей. По преданию она была написана Апостолом Лукой с живой Богородицы и благословлена Ею. Икона хранилась во многих странах и ее путь очень интересен.

Voor 10 euro kan men de 5 museums in Cetinje bezoeken, en ze liggen allemaal in een straal van 50 tot 100 meter van elkaar.

В принципе представленное в музее имеет ценность, наверное, только для балканцев. Для людей непосвященных - имена ничего не скажут. Если дождливо - можно зайти. А так больше удовольствия - просто погулять по улочкам души черногории - цетине.
