haven golf course

A golfer at another course suggested we give Haven in Green Valley a try as it was their favourite course in the area. We were not disappointed. Haven has a reputation for offering the best value in Green Valley Golf. We found a great rate on golfnow.com. The greens were in great shape. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We played at a good pace in early February. We definitely plan to return.

Course is in good conditon. Staff are very friendly. Good course for those looking for a pleasant outing without having to worry about being able to hit a lot of difficult shots

Played just after over seeding and the fairways were a little long in the grass. Overall good layout,bunkers could be fluffier,kind of like hitting off hard pan. But I guess I wouldn't have that problem if I just stayed out of them! Staff was very friendly and play was timely.

Well managed golf course. Workers are friendly and the pro shop was very neat. Reservation system on line was a little confusing.

I arrainged for a friend to golf at Havens. There was a mix up in the payment, but instead of handling it in a professional mannor, the guy in the club house was rude and belittled my friend. We have a lot of friends who visit and play golf, I will not recommed Havens to any of them. My friend golfed 3 other courses with no problems

Course and facilities are very basic and comparable to most any public course that is trying to milk every last bit of revenue from a course. While waiting in line to tee off on the first hole, I asked the pro shop how close the tee times are together....7 minutes. Considering the average age and ability on the course, 7 minutes is pretty tight. We waited on most tee boxes, waited in the fairways and basically waited for most of the day. We slowed down our pace and had an overall good time, but I would not go back, unless all other course were closed.

Haven has consistently been the best value in Green Valley Golf. The greens are in the best condtition by far of the three courses that we played while we visited in December. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We played at a good pace in early December.

Staff was unbelievably rude. We were playing at a medium pace and were told by the Marshals/Staff to return our carts, in vulgar language, and not to return to this course. Cannot believe they treat their patrons this way; especially after we paid good money. Will not ever return to this golf course.

Haven is a typical Green Valley public course. It is well maintained; but pace of play is very slow, especially in the PM. Iti is a good value for the money.

All my golfing buddies rave about this course and they Do Water the fairways and greesn. Very few weeds and fun to play as well as relatively inexpensive.Jan H.

If you are looking for an eastern style golf course in the desert, here it is. Lots of tree's, long fairways, excellent greens, along with beautiful mountain views. This is the course to play in Green Valley.

I play in a small league here because I have friends that play this course. Haven is a golf course that is good if you are just learning the game. There are few traps, short fairways, flat land and mediocre play. If you play often, there are many courses much better than this one. The golf pro here does do lessons well.In addition, during the last year the owner refused to honor course coupons for people even though he was closed during the time listed on the coupon.

The owner of the course is not afraid to spend the necessary money to make the course a very playable place.

Apparently the owners of this popular course either have good water rights or they're not reluctant to spend money to keep the place well watered. It stays in the best shape year around of all the public courses in this town.While I personally find the layout less that scintillating, the fact that it's well maintained makes up for that modest shortcoming.

You will always enjoy your round of golf at Haven. They take very good care of this golf course and it is a relatively easy course that is easy to get to off of I-19. It is usually the least expensive golf course in the area
