Big, hot, a lot like a barn, but not that nice. Not a ballpark in the usual idea of a park. Parking is tight, be prepared to walk. The best part is running the stairs up and down for exercise. Food is ok, nothing special.
When in town during baseball season, please go to Chase Field to watch the Arizona Diamondbacks play. There are also tours you can go on to see the field and dugout. A great experience. The Field itself is beautiful and very clean. There are so many different choices for food and drink. I love going to the Stadium and you will too. Also, there are many places to park for a nominal fee. Ticket prices compared to other Stadiums I have been to are moderate,of course depending where you sit. You will love the experience and it is for all ages. They have many Handicap seating as well. Go to the ballpark for a wonderful time......
Like most of the newer parks of this nature, it doesn't have that much character and it has a revolving name, used to be called Bank One, wonder what the next corporate name will be... In any case, it's very functional and serves the purpose... good sitelines generally but still doesn't have that great feel of the old time ball barks... nothing much to remember about the place except the game or event one is attending.
I watched multiple Arizona Diamondback baseball games at Chase Field. I am always pleased with the experience. Professional Sport tickets are always too high just about where ever you go. The ticket prices are not as high as many other Professional Baseball tickets. I usually park at one of the private lots, and have to remember which exit I came in so I don't get lost getting back to my car. The view, the opening of the roof in good weather, the seating, the venues.... you won't find better. I recommend this experience to anyone who even has just a mild interest in professional baseball.
Fun activity within walking distance of the hotel. It was Fan Day so we took the toddler, who enjoyed hitting and throwing the baseball.
The ballpark is just gorgeous ! I've been to many MLB parks, and this one in Phoenix is the best by far. Simply a must visit !
Grab your friends and kids and ticket or a Chase Field. You won't regret it. Other than the groundskeepers and your tour guide you will have the field yourself. It's' so much fun and it's reasonable priced. Adults are just $7 and kids only 3.Chase Field is definitely unique with a DB TV, large video scoreboards, and my favorite the retractable roof to keep us baseball fan comfortable during the heat of the summer. The pool in the right field, numerous restaurants, including Friday's Front Row sets Chase Field above the rest. Take a tour and see what Chase has to offert
This is truly one of the great modern venues of baseball. While it can't compare to the cozy confines of Wrigley Field nor the historic Fenway Park, for a modern day stadium, this one is hard to beat. There is great seating throughout the park and no obstructed views. It's a beautiful facility with plenty of room. While the concession prices are absurdly ridiculous, it's no different than other stadiums. Plenty of restaurants to choose from if you want something more than just baseball food. All in all a place not to miss if you're a baseball fan.
I've had the unusual experience of having attended games while sitting in the bleachers in the outfield, in seats behind home plate, and in a luxury box. No matter where you sit, you're at the ballpark watching baseball and girls, drinking beer and eating peanuts. Well, maybe not peanuts in the luxury box. While there are great things to be said about the old, iconic ballparks such as Wrigley Field or the Green Monster, this modern park has much going for it. Lots of concession stands, conveniently located restrooms everywhere, and is an easy to find your way around in park. If you're a baseball fan, this is a "must do". If not, it's still something worth doing at least once.
I'm a Cardinals fan but I enjoy seeing games at other parks. Chase field has hotels within easy walking distance and it's beautiful. When the sun goes down they open up the roof and you get to enjoy a nice summer evening under the desert sky.
There are tours of Chase Field for about $7. Plenty of restaurants near by and inside the stadium. There is also a mobile merch vehicle that you can by DBack paraphernalia.
Good looking, climate controlled, all age friendly, one of the best venues for MLB and all other events that happen there. Definitely a place for family fun!
We usually make a day at the ballgame a family affair. My sons, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren all love baseball, especially our Diamondbacks so when we can we go as a group. The stadium is great. There are food stands, restrooms and everything you need at hand. It gets exciting to watch a live game but if you do have to go for snacks there are monitors everywhere showing the game so you don't miss anything. When the weather is especially nice the top is open and its awesome.
Unfortunately I am not a fancier of the sport, but Phoenix is The Place for "Winter Ball". People do came from all over the country to see Winter Ball here. Chase field is one of the ball parks they play. I understand there are 6 others. So if you are tired of the snow where youare from Phoenix is a plce to get away from it as we banned Winter here.
Just going to a ball game. Enjoying the crowds and watching your favorite teams and eating hotdogs and a beer at the ballpark
