I can honestly say that I had an amazing time! The crowd was more diverse than ever, and the atmosphere was perfect. I just layed in the sun and swam a little, but I had a really awesome time overall :)

We went to the beach to sunbathe and eat lunch and had a great time. Most people are quite friendly and people of all ages, shapes, sizes and colors are comfortable being free and au naturale. Amazing atmosphere. Plenty of parking across the street for $7.

Had a great week at Haulover Beach Park. People are friendly and the beach is very clean. You will see the gawkers every now and then but I guess that will always happen at a nude beach. We liked it best between lifeguard station 13 and 14 since there are many couples there. Parking is only $6 and there are plenty of spaces.

This is one of the best place to takes your little love ones. The off-leash park is quite big and all grass. As far as the beach I went on a Sunday and it was lots of fun for my dog. She really enjoyed. Parking is only $2 which is very cheap for the area.

I was always intrigued by the thought of a clothing optional beach. What made this more intriguing for me is the fact that I am a guy originally from Asia where nudity is generally frowned upon. I thought of checking out the place out of sheer curiosity. I thought of going there early in the morning as I was not sure if I would be courageous enough to venture into the clothing optional part of the beach if it was crowded. Parked in the North lot and walked through the tunnel under A1A to get to the beach with a towel and sunscreen in hand. Entered the clothing optional part and saw some people already there. For some reason there were a lot of guys fully nude right near the fence that separates the clothing optional part from the rest of the beach. On the day that I went the percentage of male to female was about 70 to 30. I selected a spot that had a good view of the ocean (which is pretty much any spot) and then it was time to take it off. I removed everything except my underwear and sat for about 15 minutes just watching the people and the ocean. Saw many guys, women and couples in various stages of undress with most of the guys fully nude and half of the women fully nude. After 15 minutes decided it was time and took it all off. Waited for a few minutes for the initial excitement and then decided to walk around a bit. After a while felt really comfortable and not as self conscious. Challenged myself to go to the concession van to buy something. Went there stood in line behind a 25 something couple who were also fully nude and the van was staffed by a dude and a lady. I was helped by the lady and it was somewhat embarrassing to transact with a lady while being fully nude due to the asian culture that I come from. Bought my gatorade from her, drank it, got dressed and sneaked out of the clothing optional section and drove back home. Overall it was a very unique and memorable experience.

I stumbled upon the clothing optional part of the beach and could not resist the temptation to become just as I was born. The feeling was exhilarating. I don't want to go into too much detail (unless forced) but the breeze felt much more pleasurable and seeing people behaving normally without reservation was inspiring. I would suggest have some sunscreen for the more sensitive areas that don't normally enjoy it, but otherwise a great place to be.

Haulover State Park was very nice and was nicer than South Beach. After a day at Haulover Beach we took a walk and found that the far north end of the beach is clothing optional which was clearly marked and you may want to avoid it. The beach was about a mile long with plenty of parking for only $5 for the day. You can park across the street from the park and there are tunnels under the roadway.

There are no buildings just expansive beach with limited services, so you can have a solitary stay by the sea and just watch birds. There are buses along Collins Ave. and public parking.

I use to visit this beach often when i lived in miami. Now that I am back from the north i am looking forward to visiting again. If you're straight, WARNING!!! there are a lot og gay that take this opportunity to check others our. I;ve seen some crazy stuff there but overall it is a nice beach and the people for the most part mind their own business.

The north end of Haulover Beach is one of the few "clothing optional" public beaches in the U.S. Having never experienced such a setting before, I decided to check it out. My visit took place on a holiday weekend, so there were plenty of folks out and about...and about half were in the buff and half not. This is not a place for thrill seekers...all the sunbathers (clothed or otherwise) were well behaved...and there was no monkey business evident anywhere. I suppose voyeurs might get their kicks here...but for me it was just a quirky experience that I can now remove from my bucket list.

Very large parking area at $6 per day (weekdays), also with huge park and lots of picnic tables along scenic waterway. Nice beach area, water is very blue and inviting. Large facilities easily accessible. Part of beach is clothes optional but it is well marked and non obtrusive.

If you are into naturism, this is the place to go. The beach is very close to Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles.

I arrived for the first time around 4 pm on a holiday Monday (MLK day). The North parking lot was closed for construction but the larger, south lot was open and with plenty of parking ($7 fee). There is a picknic/cookout area in the park along the parking lot. I used the tunnel to cross under A1A and onto the beach; large, clean, easy. There is a lifeguard/park ranger building beside the tunnel exit. It has large bathrooms and an officearea or visitor's center attached ( A safe populated place overall ). The beach was not too crowded but I did get there late on a weekday. I headed up northward to the clothing optional section - a 3 minute walk. The crowd was a mix of everything (young-old, sculpted - fat, tan - transparent, singles to families) and yes nude men seemed to outnumber the women. Many more men were gathered at the north end between lifeguard stands 15, 16 and 17 so yeah it seemed like the same-sex zone. Everyone was really chill. Yes there were a few exhibitionist or "paraders" but nothing to complain about. The weather was perfect. It was liberating and therapeutic to strip and be one with the elements free of clothes, judgements, and my own hang-ups.I'd go back in a heart beat. I loved it! A very very cool experience. I'm a 47 y o male.( I have a theory that well-endowed men go to nude beaches in slightly higher % than the norm. )

If your looking for a clean clothing optional beach, that has laid back atmosphere, safe, great clean almost turquoise water, look no farther. Great parking, clean bathrooms, food truck on beach. It's clothing optional. My favorite beach in south Florida.
