Attended the "Willie Nelson" show last night. Keith Allynn was very good and we enjoyed his show.It was not a dinner show however they did have a hotdog vendor on site. This facility is a little long in the tooth but they seem to be making an attempt to keep it in repair. However the floor is unleveled in many places which may cause issues for those with mobility issues. The restrooms were clean and stocked. There is a full bar available and the bar staff and servers were very friendly. Bottle beer only for $6 a bottle.
The show is always special. The actors and actresses always amaze with their energy, talent and versatility. Looking forward to "The King and I" coming soon. The buffet is delicious with enough choices for any palate to enjoy. Come share the excitement.
This was our first time to visit the Show Palace. Upon arrival, we were directed to one of four tables in the rear. Unfortunately, the view of the stage was bad. They should either raise the floor to different levels or sell a lot less tickets. The food was buffet style, 2 salad stations and 2 entrée sections. Not really adequate to serve 400 people in a timely manner. The food was fine except for the desert table, jello and pudding? I did enjoy the show, except for the seating but have decided that I would prefer to go to Orlando for this type of evening.
Our dine around group attended the showing of “Crazy About You” at the Show Place in Hudson, FL.Never having been as such an event, I did not know what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the buffet meal (hot and cold selections) plus desert, coffee, tea, water. There was a full service cash bar. The dinner started about 12 noon with a very good wait staff. If you wanted seconds, you simply went back to the serving tables. The show went on about 1:15 and this one ended about 4:00 which included a 20 minute intermission. The tables are arranged so the by simply turning your chair you had an excellent view of the stage. We were at table 73 which was on the second level which allowed us to see over the heads of the lower level attendees. The venue is handicap accessible with ramps leading to all floors. There is plenty of signage to caution attendees about up or down ramps. There appeared to be plenty of parking. This was a great fun afternoon.see: www.showpalace.net
We have been going to the Show Palace for at least 13 or 14 years and have seen many varied productions. "Crazy For You" is now playing (Jan 15-Feb 22, 2015), and my husband and I both agreed it is absolutely THE BEST SHOW YET!! The energy and professionalism of the cast was fantastic, and the dancing - well let's just say we were all toe-tapping and loving it! Buffet was good as always. Highly recommend anyone in the area track down tickets - this one is a definite winner!
The show (actors & singers) were very good as was the table service, but that was about the end of the good. The tables were on the same level, so you could not see the show unless you were in the first row of tables. The tables were slow close together that you could not easily get in and out of your seat. The chairs were very uncomfortable. They are OK for about an hour, but the show, drinks and dinner take about 4.5 hours. The food was very low quality and tasteless, but it was eatable. The restrooms are very inadequate or such a large crowd.
This was the first time we went to the Show Palace, we wanted to check out the entertainment. They had a band called 60's Groove. They were so-so, the food was good, they had a salad buffet and the main buffet. The waiter was very good, he was one of the actors, we enjoyed his service. We would like to go back for a show and dinner sometime soon, as for new years eve.,.... no
not for me poor food poor service and the place needs a face lift good shows and ample parking just not what i expected
From what I could see, the performance was fantastic. The only problem was table 94 has a terrible view for the money spent. If I slouched, I was uncomfortable. If I sat straight up, I felt like I was in others way. Needless to say, the show was really, really good. The food was hot and tasted good. Sevice was fantastic ! We did leave at intermission because it was senseless to stay uncomfortable any longer.
Another great year, A Christmas carol Fantastic . The theater could use a face lift but the show is and the wait staff are incredible . Tim our server always pleasant, very friendly....the food is almost always the same, but I guess it works, I really love the production they put on full of energy . They line up after the show for photos , love it.....if you haven't already book a show and see what you've been missing.
We have attended Show Palace presentations for years and are amazed at the high quality of the productions. Every seat is a good one. We have season tickets for a major central Florida professional venue and I must say I prefer this small, intimate venue. The food is good, service excellent. Friends from out of state went with me to Kiss Me Kate and loved it! Can't wait to go again.
Saw "Forever Plaid" on opening night. Expected a show with the cast still having to work on a few things. Boy was I WRONG! The show was fantastic!! Very pleasantly surprised. The service was top notch and could not have been any better. Food was okay, not over the top, but definitely not bad. Lots to choose from. Can't wait to go back!
Great Place to take in a show or special event (Tommy Mara in Concert). We have been there a couple of times now, but this night was "INCREDIBLE ".....Tommy deserves a standing ovation. Really great service, reasonably priced and not a bad seat in the house.
Thank you for joining us at the Show Palace! I am so happy that you enjoyed your night out. We look forward to having you back again soon
We've lived so close for so long and never thought to go to a show there. The buffet was very good, drinks not too expensive, and the price can't be beat for a local entertainment place.
