It's always fun and relaxing visiting Lake Lily Park. Feed the ducks, walk around the lake. Sit by the shore. Fun to take the kids for a little excursion. Has lots of events and art festivals to enjoy as well.

We love coming here after dinner at Antonio's Cafe to walk around the lake. The paths are well-lit, and the bathrooms are convenient and clean. Beware of the many ducks though that will follow you everywhere if you try to feed them. The playground is a safe spot for children to play, as it's fenced in on three sides. Having the train pass by in the back adds a nostalgic touch to this beautiful lake with the lighted fountain in the middle.

I love walking along Lake Lily in Maitland, FL. It is a nice park for everyone. Lots of families walking with their children and dogs. People feeding the ducks, squirrels, egrets and turtles. You cannot swim on Lake Lily and motor boats are not allow.Food is available for purchase on Wednesday's evening from the Food Trucks. The Maitland Farmers Market is held at Lake Lily Park every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.Across the street from Lake Lily, you have Lake Maitland, which is an awesome place for water sports such as water skiing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, etc.

Lake Lily is a great little park. The path around is shady which makes for a great walk. There is a small playground for kids and the bathrooms are well maintained.

Lake Lily is a beautiful park. Always busy with adults walking, families with kids, farmers market on the weekend (Sunday) and food trucks at mealtimes. Ducks and turtles and an occasional heron. Do yourself a favor: let the stress go away and spend some time there!

It's a wonderful place to stroll if you live in the neighborhood. Old trees, ducks, birds and one of the oldest extant brick paths in Florida. Of interest for non-residents is the Water House, a 150 year old home, one of the first in Maitland, which is open to the pubic for a small charge. Check for times.

This small park has tight parking, but is a very nice park to visit, especially with children. They have a very nice playground, with benches. Shade trees cover most of the park. Lots of green space, a great walkway around the small lily pad filled lake, with a wooden boardwalk on a part of the walkway. Lots of ducks, geese, ibis to feed bread. They come right up to your feet, too and look up at you! Some can be hand fed. Didn't check out the bathrooms. Park appeared very well kept.

The Maitland's Farmers' Market is on Sunday's from 9am-2pm. Many events are happening during the year. If you need more info go to the City website at www.itsmymaitland.com and you will see the dates of many coming up such as the Maitland Chamber Art Show April 12-13 along Lake Lily walk path. Food Truck event is no longer. Lack of attendance. Lots of fun for the kids at the playground. Dog on leashes are allowed. Doggie Bags are provided so be a good dog owner and pick up your dogs waste! Help keep our Maitland Parks looking great. Its a nice day to spend with family.

Small but scenic and you can find some quite areas. Wish there was more seating especially during events. Kept clean, restrooms decent, lots of ducks and squirrels. Nice little oasis in the city

Lake Lilly Park has been one of my favorite places for many years. It is a great place to get outdoors and enjoy nature. There are many festivals and events (like food trucks and concerts) planned around the lake throughout the year. A visit to the Waterhouse historic home is a must for all in the area. Don't forget the carpentry shop. There are docents at certain times who can tell you the story of the people who settled there and built Maitland. You can schedule a tea party for your club or grandchildren. Now there are many restaurants within walking distance to add to the fun. It is not far to the library and the Maitland Civic Center. You can get to the Art Center easily also.

Lake Lily is a beautiful lake and park. There are numerous wildlife animals that make it there home. Fish, tons of turtles, birds, ducks. You can always see a mama duck and 10 up to 17 tiny baby ducks swimming along side her. It's just nature at it's best. When it's not 90 degrees out, it's a lovely place to stroll around the lake. Check out the foliage. Bring a blanket and a picnic basket. On Sundays there is a farmers market with local fresh produce, hot food and cold drinks. This place is also lovely in the evenings. Well lit and vey safe. Enjoy! And best part...it's free!

Lake Lily is very special among lakes! Even though it's in a suburban area, it exudes a distinctive natural blend of plantings, birds, walkways, water life, benches, etc. Simply driving by, you're engulfed by its beauty. We've been there for Art shows, Farmers Market, Craft shows or just for some moments to unwind. If you're lucky there might be a food-truck at the edge of the lake area. Once a month there's a Coin Show in the adjacent center for some variety. One time there was an Orchid Show/ sale there. Almost everytime we've just driven by there's always parents with their children feeding the ducks or just relaxing on the serene grassed areas.
