I love the layout, but someone needs to put some money in this course! The fairways are not good, the greens are very slow. Nothing about this course is up to par. There is always a reason when a course charges extremely low rates during prime season. I love the low price, but please, either fix it up, or sell it to someone who will.

The girl at the Pro Shop was very personable seeing as we booked this through GolfNow. Many courses do not treat you this nice when using an outside booking source. The Tee-Box was empty so she let us out 40 minutes early. The two of us completed our round in under 3 hours. Course is challenging from the blues because it is located in the Brooker Creek Preserve we saw deer, gators, turkeys and a plethora of Herons, Sand Hill Cranes, Anhingas and Storks. Beautiful Course.

Tarpor Woods is not in the greatest condition, but for a public course it is not too bad. The green fees, especially in the summer, are reasonable and we play there at least once a month with our two adult boys, I would like to see a little more care taken of the greens and we often play "winter rules" because the fairways are not consistent. But I love the lay out and it is fair for both men and women.
