elks run golf course

Great layout and well maintained except for the bunkers which did not have much sand in them.. Nice place to play, but in the middle of nowhere.

I almost hate to write about this as next thing I know I won't get a tee time! I have enjoyed Elks many times over the last few years and current owners really have the course in nice shape. I really enjoy the layout and the scenery and the fact I can walk on almost any time during the week.

I traveled to Batavia with several friends to play this course. We live over an hour away. We were very impressed with the course and facilities. The staff was both courteous and professional. The course was challenging but fun. There is a nice warmup area with driving range. The fairways were in excellent condition. There was some work being done on the tee boxes, but overall, this course was in great shape. Wonderful course for the price.

I live a half hour from this course, but have never had an opportunity to play it until a Thursday in October. I arrived at the course and parked and within minutes someone drove a cart to my car. While I do not mind carrying my clubs up to the clubhouse, this was a nice touch for a public course. The clubhouse is spacious and has a large bar area and a good sized deck and patio. All the employees were very helpful and the course was in good shape for mid October. Unless you play the tips it is not a terribly long course, but it is challenging at times. The front nine is more open and flatter while the back is much more hilly and wooded.
