So awesome! Diamondback is my favorite ride, even though I've only been on it twice.
Kings Island is a fun adventure for the whole family especially if you love roller coasters. Not for the faint of heart it is primary a thrill ride park. But, if you want nostalgia, the Old Coney section of the park is fun for tiny tots and older adults that are past being thrilled.
it was amazing experince my kids want to go back ever single year thats how much fun itwas it doesnt cost that much in my opinion. i wish they made things like this when i was kid the only fun thing that is enjoyed was going to disney world.
Don't go here. You can't ride anything. Fast pass dominates every ride. 4 instance on drop zone and delerium they take half and half so a group of 20 fast pass can shut it down. They make every other ride and your family waits thru up to 20. Go to holiday world. Cleaner family friendly old school wait ur turn park with awesome rides, free soda and sunscreen. I will not miss kings island. Let the fast pass have it. I'm out
This is a super fun theme park! They have tons of different rides for all ages and they have the best roller coasters ever! This park will take a full day to fully enjoy. I do recommend purchasing speed passes for the rides or you'll be waiting in line for up to an hour on some of the rides which will cut into your fun. Make sure you wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothes. If you plan on doing any of the water based rides you might want to purchase one of the plastic cell phone bags before you come to make sure that your cell phone doesn't get ruined. The food and the shops can be expensive and they don't allow coolers to be brought inside . Other than that, this place is awesome!
Kings Island has lots to offer with the water park and the roller coasters. It's definetly a must do if you're coming in from out of town. the lines can be long and the tickets a little pricey but if you've never experienced it I recommend you do so.
This is the place to go if you are going as older, middle aged, young, teens and kids of all ages. They have something for everyone. I'm in the middle age to older group so I like the slower viewing rides. The train is great. The Old time cars. But the girls in their late 20's love the roller coasters and faster rides. Now for the grandchildren, most of them will stay in the kids area all day long and venture out with us to the slower things. While mom and dad's do their thing. But going as an entire family is always a great experience at Kings Island. Oh, you can't forget the awesome water park they have right on the grounds. They also have music acts and all sorts of shops to buy different things in. You could almost make it a weekend thing. We have thought about camping at the Yabba dabba doo camp ground and making a weekend of it sometime. Sounds like a very fun future event.
This amusement park has some really good coasters. But, the best I have ever ridden is located here. The Banshee! It is about 3 1/2 minutes long - which is crazy awesome in itself. But, it also has great loops, turns, speed, etc! If you love coasters, you CANNOT miss this one. The only drawback to the park was the lack of interaction with the staff. I think living in Florida so long, I am accustomed to the Disney staff. However, there were 3 really great employees that were very helpful!
Last year we went on a week day late is May. We were there when the doors opened, very small crowd all day, no lines, we did not visit the water park but at least part of it was open. Some things were closed, not sure why but majority of everything was open. There are discounts too, great time to go.
We have had season passes for years. The water park is fun for all ages; the rides are awesome; and if neither of those appeal, there are fun shows. The talent is exceptional. I like to go and just walk around, sometimes.
We are local and have visited many many times over the last 20 years. Each year we keep going back to see what new attractions or rides they have put in place. My kids are adrenaline junkies and there are way too many roller coasters to mention them all. Best way to do the park is to come mid week and do it in 2 days. Get there early and hit the popular rides then work your way around. Don't miss the Beast or the Diamond back. My two favorites.
