Both my teen and 7 year old found lots of interesting things to do. Great family day. Neat water area and younger kids area for the under 6 set.

visited the Titanic exhibit there. wonderful experience. Imagination Station (formerly the Center of Science and Industry (COSI)) is a non-profit, hands-on science museum located on the riverfront in downtown Toledo, Ohio. The facility has over 300 exhibits for "children of all ages."

This was the first time I had visited the Imagination Station since it changed from COSI. I remember COSI being so fun and interactive, and Imagination Station seemed to be even better. I love all the different activities there are that you can learn from as well. I definitely had fun!

This was one of the best children's museums we have been too. There was plenty to do for a 6 and 8 year old for 3 hours (and some stuff is only for older kids/adults). And it's free for teachers! Highly recommend.

I have an almost 2 year old who is mesmerized by everything. This place was fun, but we quickly found that we had visited everything there was to do. Also there were several buckets surrounding the place collecting water that was leaking from the roof into the children's play area, I am not sure that is sanitary if the kids were to get into that water.

Cosi suffered from lack of attention big time. . This is a fun get away for the family. . City property tax funded so I don't go as often as I used to. .. it's missing " the magic " of let's say the children's museum of Indianapolis but the fun factor still shines thru

This is a great place for kids! I don't have any, but was there with my friends and their little ones. I can't wait to take my nieces and nephew back -- so much to learn and do! Also very interesting special exhibits. Well worth the admission.

Loved the place. Lots of activities, friendly staff and prices were good. Went with my husband and loved checking out all the exhibits.

The dino exhibit was nothing new and very short. Not worth the extra money on top of the admission price. The rest was OK but all pretty common exhibits and displays for a science center type attraction. Going once was fine but probably wont go back anytime soon.

Imagination Station(IS) is a fantastic resource for Toledoians. This is a non-profit organization with a focus on learning and science activities. They often have special venues with a creative and fascinating idea and it's usually hands on. They have high wire bike riding, various science stations where not only your kids will learn plenty but the parents will learn a few things as well. It's focused on younger kids but I've gone with my wife before a date as well and we had a blast. Have fun and enjoy a day out at IS.

There are three must-see locales for families visiting Toledo -- (1) the Toledo Zoo; (2) the Toledo Museum of Art; and (3) the Imagination Station. I mention all three because the most expensive is the Imagination Station. However, when you consider entrance to the Toledo Zoo is only $7.50 for adults in the late fall and winter (half price) and the museum is FREE for all ages, you can afford to do all three, time allowing. The Imagination Station is worth the $10 per adult/$8 per child entrance fee (children under 2 are free) because it will keep the kids busy for hours. There are many fun hands-on science activities, along with scheduled demonstrations. Special play spaces have been designed for all ages -- including infants. Be sure to play in the water exhibits and visit the brain bending room. And, if you're not afraid of heights, don't miss the mid-air bicycle ride. Yes, you CAN peddle a bike across a one-inch cable! The facility occasionally hosts special exhibits -- they cost extra.

I was in town, staying in the hotel connected to Imagination Station, and I got free admission as a teacher. So I figured it was worth a shot. It was well worth it! People complain that it is small. But honestly it's bigger than Cleveland's Great Lakes Science Center. It's large enough to make a trip, probably would take the average person 2-4 hours to go through. Great exhibits. I was here years ago when it was part of COSI. It was better this time than what I remembered. Sometimes exhibits go down in museums after hard kid play. That was not the case here. Everything in good working order. There was a friendly staff person in every corner of the museum.

This is one of the most fun and educational places you can take your childen. To be honest, it's fun for all ages. You can't beat making science fun by hands-on learning. Don't miss this!

My husband and I went to see the Titanic display yesterday. We are senior citizens and did not realize that you have to pay general admission as well as the admission for the Discovery Center. It would have cost us nearly $40 for admission. We declined and went to the Zoo instead. I am sorry it is so expensive. We would have loved to see it.

We went to go see the Titanic Exhibit before it ends on 9/21. Didn't realize that you had to pay general admission AND the fee to see the Titanic. So, for us two adults, it was nearly $40.00. We had to wait a really long time to pay to get in, since the two reps at the admission desk were also registering families for yearly memberships. The Titanic Exhibit itself was well laid out. The interpretive exhibits were interesting, but repetitive at times. At the end, there was a gift shop and an opportunity to buy a $20.00 souvenir photo. Pretty steep. On the theme of being steep, the café was understaffed and overpriced. There was one person working who was taking orders, preparing and serving food. So, we opted for two bottles of pop and a snack bag of chips and pretzels. The bill was more than $7.00. Most of the exhibits at Imagination Station are the same as when I used to bring my daughter down to "COSI" at least 15 years ago. We did enjoy experiencing the hurricane force winds and the hands on demonstration of combustion in the theater area.
