We went with another couple to Indigo Sky Casino, Feb 14th, 2015. I know it was Valentine's Day. My biggest complaint would have to be, No Benches, or Chairs to sit on, unless you are playing a game. I have bad knees, and had to stand for hours. We intended to just eat at the Shawanoe Restuarant. The wait time was over 2 hours. They gave us a pager. Meantime, whenever we would go by and look in there, there would be several empty tables, just sitting there. The first time we asked how long, they told us 25 parties ahead of us. We checked back a couple of other times, just in case. When we were finally called, and went in to get seated, there was 10 empty tables in the room. Really! And they made us wait that long. The waitress was nice. Her name is Anastashia(not sure about the spelling, sorry if I messed it up). She took good care of us. We didn't care for the girl walking around playing the violin. We didn't recognize most of the songs, and nearly put us to sleep. Maybe she was just there for Valentine's Day, I don't know. As for the food, it was really good. We had the buffet, all you can eat, and it had Prime Rib. Desserts as well. Even after we ate, and went back to the game room, we still had to stand all the time. Finally got into the bar, and found a table. Sat there for a while, and drank a few beers. Now. The next day, I can't hardly walk. Won't be anxious to do that again very soon.
Purchased a Groupon for a Saturday night's stay and they had sent me a free Sunday night so we got a 2 night stay, free play and dinner comp. This is our 2nd visit and we really enjoyed it. The grounds of the hotel is really pretty, the staff is helpful and friendly. We won our money back from the free play but don't go to the casino to get rich. We ate at Shawanoe and had the chicken and spinach pasta, it was delicious! The only problem we've had both visits was that the wait staff was a little slow but we always have a very friendly waitress so hard to complain. Will probably go back at some point.
Enjoyed the food, loved the pictures in the dinning room. The bar was fun and just enjoyed looking around.
We left Broken Arrow, Ok. for a two day mini vacation @ Indigo Sky, our first stay @ the hotel. Prompt, friendly service @ the check in desk, then up to the room. Very nice room indeed, well pleased. The food in the Shawanoe Restaurant is very good & service is great ! All employees we saw were helpful and friendly. Already planning another trip there ! Our friends & neighbors ask, how was it, we answer with one word......"PERFECT" !
They will treat you well to begin with but after that you can forget it ! If you don't continue to drop hundreds of dollars every visit, you will not receive any comps. Not even a Cup of coffee. If you want to have a casino as your regular,I would suggest either Buffalo Run or Stables casino both located in Miami, Ok. It is a shame that the management staff of this casino can't seem to figure out how to get it right at Indigo Sky casino. The location of this facility is excellent and the building is new and modern. However that's where it ends. Poor service, poor return on your dollars and total disregard for your loyalty as a regular customer are the biggest reasons to look elsewhere. Trust me, 2 years of this will turn you sour. I Thought that them being open as long as they have now would afford them the opportunity to get it right but no cigar. It's truly a shame, with some management that new how to get it right, this place could be one of the best ! Reflected in their empty lot!
My wife and I, along with another couple, spent a night at the Indigo Sky Casino and Hotel. We used a groupon that included one nights stay, casino play, and food vouchers. We all really enjoyed the hotel and casino. The employees we encountered were very nice and helpful. I understand that it is only about two years old and is very clean and nice. The hotel rooms are only a few steps through the lobby from the casino. There are several restaurants in the casino. The casino has a large bingo room for my wife. The hotel has a nice looking outdoor pool and hot tub that I will try when the weather is warmer. We all did okay in the casino, neither winning a lot or losing much. They have a nice variety of slot machines and quite a few table games. Overall we enjoyed the Indigo Sky and will go again. Also there are quite a few other Indian casinos within a short driving distance. We went to five other casinos while we were in the area.
If you live far away from this casino don't bother making the drive. It is average at best, on the smaller end, and the slots are tight. The smell of smoke is the worst of any casino I have ever been in. Came, played, saw, but won't be back.
Very nice, roomy and fancy. Plenty of parking and a restaurant and a grill. In a good location close to highway to I44. Employees are very helpful.
Many casino restaurants seem like cafeteria food, but Indigo Sky's Sha-wa-noe Restaurant is a cut above. We enjoyed the prime rib buffet for dinner, which included several side dishes and numerous cakes and cobblers for dessert. Service was good: server cut into the middle of the roast to get my friend a very rare steak, and the chefs frequently came out to check the steam trays and visit with guests. Another restaurant, the Three Sisters Food Court, offered a breakfast of scrambled eggs, tater tots, bacon, toast and coffee--nothing fancy, but a decent meal for $1.99 (for seniors). The casino itself is pretty fair, although too many slot machines are out of order or don't accept free play. We had chocolate martinis at the larger of the two bars. Bar service was good (no poker or slot machines in the bar, like you find at most casinos). The hotel room was clean, with large bathroom, tub, and shower; coffee pot, no mini-fridge or microwave; comfortable beds. We stayed here on a Groupon special, and will stay here again for a pleasant mini-vacation.
In November 2012 my wife and I stayed at the hotel for two days. First the room wasn't ready when we arrived although reservations were made in advance. Then they screwed up our room service order that evening. The next morning they AGAIN screwed up our breakfast order The next morning we left to go gamble downstairs and when we came back up late that evening we found they had never even TOUCHED our room; we still had dinner and breakfast dishes AND FOOD spoiling on our tables! We complained and they came up and cleaned the room keeping us up past midnight and then when we checked out THEY HAD OVERCHARGED MY CREDIT CARD!!!! I complained and to make amends the hotel manager gave us a complimentary stay redeemable until 12/30/14. Today I called to make a reservation and guess what even after facing the gift certificate they won't accept it! The old hotel manager isn't there and the new manager KIM ZURBAY even suggested I FORGED THE CERTIFICATE BY ADDING A PARAGRAPH AT THE END WITH THE EXPIRATION DATE! Wow, just wow! WE WILL NEVER COME VACK AND WILL BE TAKING OUR BUSINESS TO THE DOWNSTREAM (the rooms are much nicer anyway!). In fact I will never set foot in an East Shawnee Tribe casino again. Poor service is one thing but to be accused of being a thief is another!
My wife asked me what I wanted to do for my 66th birthday. I said "I want to go to Indigo Sky and then on to Branson, MO." so this Sunday 12/07/2014 we're heading out for a 4 day birthday outing. I sure hope that their slots are looser than Choctaw Casino in Pocola, OK as I played there and counted 63 spends. without hitting a dime :-( . I was told to count my spends and pay a mind how much I've lost before hitting something. So I'll be counting my spends there too, to see if it's worth going back. I'll give you all an update while there and when we return. I'll give this a 5 till I know the facts. "Gee I hope I win". p1209
Purchased a Groupon package to stay here. Checked in on a Sunday night to get a better deal. Stayed in a king deluxe room which was very nice and clean. The bed was VERY comfy. They have a noon checkout which was perfect. The TV could have been bigger and a mini fridge would have been nice, but I would definitely recommend a stay here! We paid $199 for the Groupon that came with $250 casino credit and walked out with $223. Didn't hit it rich but ended up with a free trip!
This was our first visit to this casino. We were in the area for another event that ended early, so we decided to check it out. We first had dinner at Three Sisters, where we ordered the steak and shrimp buffet. Had we seen the buffet beforehand, we would have gone to another restaurant. The salad bar was decent. The steak was over cooked and under seasoned. The shrimp was fried. Neither of us eats much fried food, so we were disappointed that there wasn't shrimp cooked other ways. The breading was pretty flavorless, so I just peeled it off, which was very easy to do. The smoked sausage had good flavor, but was too salty. The whipped potatoes were dry. The white gravy (the only kind served) was extremely thick, but had decent flavor. The dinner rolls were dry. There was a great range of items available for dessert--cakes, pies, brownies, cookies. We tried the red velvet cake and lemon layer cake. The frosting on both was very well-crafted and flavorful, but the cake was slightly dry. Staff were polite. One person came by to collect our empty plates. She placed dirty cups and plates from other tables directly onto our table to retrieve ours. Completely unacceptable. We then moved onto the gaming floor. At the first machine I chose, I tried to cash out because it was too tight--I didn't win a penny. It did not print a ticket for me. I pushed the button to call an attendant, but none came. Good thing I had less than three dollars left! The second machine I tried, I only won 10 cents. On the third machine, I won MAYBE five dollars. We decided to call it quits after that. We were approached by a waitress while playing, and we ordered a rum and coke and a tequila sunrise. The service was very quick, and the drinks were $3 each, which was a very fair price. We live near another casino with much looser machines, so our experience was mildly disappointing.
a little smoky upon entering -- the staff was friendly. Food was good in the restaurant as we had dinner and breakfast. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious. Atmosphere just seemed laid back
My husband and I came here for a weekend getaway after purchasing a Groupon for a nights stay, food voucher and free play. We had an absolute blast! We were very impressed with the staff and how friendly everyone was to us. We had no problems checking in and was given our food voucher and cards for free play right away. The room was very clean and nice. We spent some time at the pool area. The pool was clean and has a large rock waterfall that was fun. The hot tub was HUGE! The area around the pool was great. It had lots of comfortable lounging chairs, seating areas with fireplaces, flat screen televisions and music playing that all resulted in a very relaxing feel. We spent hours in the casino playing on our free play and never had any issues with our card working. There were a few machines that did not take the free play but we were aware of this ahead of time so it wasn't a problem for us. Especially since we didn't seem to encounter too many that didn't accept the free play. There is a great selection of games to choose from and enjoy. We won some here and there but most of all had a lot fun. The bar in the center of the casino was great, we never had to wait for service and the price for a beer was $2, the best price we have paid while at a casino. We opted to use our food voucher for breakfast the next morning instead of for dinner. We had the breakfast buffet and it was delicious. You could also get made to order omelets in addition to the buffet. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay and had a blast! I highly recommend this as the perfect getaway! We really hope to return again in the future.
