We decided to have an adventure in Baker City since neither of us has been. In other words, we are here presently and getting to know this historic city!No better place to start (okay, we started technically at Piazano's without plans to stay) but here! The pics of the 8 beer sampler and warehouse are from today's visit. SUPER friendly, busy, and an all-around great time!!

This is a great place - lots of choices and good home brewed beers. Took us a while to choose from the options, and their policy of giving samples helped!

In the 1960's, blacks were not allowed to sit at luncheon counters in certain places in the South. They had to fight for the right to be recognized as human beings. My husband and I went to this place tonight with our 15-year-old son. Our server had hardly anything to do with us beyond taking our order. We are a gay couple in our 50's. We felt marginalized. Anyone who values equality, I recommend not patronizing this establishment.

Huge amount and variety of some of the best micro brew in the country. This brewery has two establishments that are right across the street from each other--one is the ale house that is strictly beer, and the other one features many (but not all) of the taps plus a full restaurant menu. Don't miss it if you enjoy micro beers.
