We rocked up with a couple of kids and a raging thirst, and spent a lovely couple of hours meeting their collection of alpacas and drinking wine. There's no great set-up, as such. Just a tasting room, with a lovely picnic area, a few acres of vines, and several pens where the animals live. Provided they're not too busy, the owners will come out and show you the alpacas, which the kids absolutely adored, and give you what's essentially a free tour of the vineyard. Great afternoon; can't reccomed it enough

I was staying with family in Central Point and was trying to come up with an activity that would be appealling for my 5 year old nephew, as well as his mother. This was perfect. The owner, whom I spoke to before coming, was just lovely. She was so very kind to us and gave us a great tour of the alpacas. We even got to see a 3 day old cria. They are very well cared for and living in a clean and spacious environment. There's also an orchard and a place to have a picnic, with several tables on a patio. Attached to the alpaca farm is Caprice Vineyards and my sister was able to enjoy a wine tasting and we purchased a couple of bottles of wine. There is also a gift shop with all sorts of alpaca products. It's nice because you can see the alpacas and then see the raw fleece and the spinning wheel that makes it into yarn for knitting, and then the finished products. This is not a huge place but you could easily spend a couple of hours if you brought a picnic. And because it's small, we were able to meet the owner in person and have a tour. I would give this my highest rating and appreciate her taking the time to show us around. My nephew enjoyed it very much and his difficult-to-please mother also had a good time, even though she was in a rush to get to her next destination.

We went there because we read the reviews here... With 4 restlessKids in the car we were ready to taste wine and pet alpacas... Everyone had a great time!

What a neat place! Bring your kids for a little farm adventure. My two daughters 11 and 8 had a blast interacting with the alpacas. Even my 15 year old son was glad we stopped. Parents can even sneak in a wine tasting too! Nice gift shop also. A little something for everyone.

This place is simply superb. The owners - James and Jeanne, are very friendly and hospitable. They have got two farms accomodating about 26 Alpacas of varying size, sex and colors. The tour of the farm is free and they will take you around so you can interact with Alpacas. These are very friendly creatures and love playing with kids.If you are a wine lover, they have a vineyard and provides wine tasting for $5 which can be reimbursed if you end up purchasing a bottle of wine. The shop there has lots of variety of items made from Alpacas wool at a good price. With kids you can easily have an hour or two of quality family time and have a wonderful photo opportunities.Have fun.

This attraction is a "must see". You'll see alpacas, and "guard lamas", and learn about them, and it's all free! If you're lucky, you'll see baby alpacas. They are so cute! You can take photos near their enclosures, with the animals in the background. Alpaca fiber is incredibly light and soft and you'll see examples in the boutique. Some products I bought are: a water bottle holder to sling over your shoulder, tiny finger puppets for kid's gifts, and a lap blanket. The sweaters, vests and jackets are gorgeous (better than you'll find at the mall!).
