Come to Clovis, you will love this place. In the summer they have a Farmer's Market with entertainment and dancing. Restaurants here are good. There are lots of antique stores. You are close to Yosemite, Sequoia and other recreational parks..There is a fantastic zoo and the underground gardens is a must to see., They have a Civil War reinactment every year here too.

As a Clovis resident since 2003, I think Old Town Clovis is great for antiques and nick-knacks shopping enthusiasts. There is ample complimentary public parking within a short walking distance. The streets are clean and well maintained. My frank opinion about antique shops is they are full of junk discarded by other people. I am constantly amazed those "antique" shops manage to stay in business. At a glance, there is one "real" store in Old Town, it sells new washers and dryers. A few restaurants dot the area. Old Town looks like a quaint picture postcard when decorated for Christmas Holidays.

There are about a dozen antique (or specialty) shops on a four-block area. Note, they are all rental booth space, so you will be seeing 6 to 10 different sellers' goods in each shop. There is only one shop that is owned by one person and he has a sign outside stating that! You can find everything big and small here, from furniture to dolls to prints to clothes. There are also a couple of more modern shops and eateries. It was a snowy day and I wanted to kill time before I went to the airport. I was mostly window shopping (so I wouldnt have to pack anything); and got exhausted in a couple of hours... so much to see! And it's good quality items. I understand there are many festivals here throughout the year. The reviews here read like professional publicity, but maybe the local professionals just love the place. It's odd there's no photo, so I'll add the so-so one I have= but it is many quaint shops that look like they have been there decades (but well maintained). a lovely place to stroll.

Looking for that something special for the person who has everything. Well the Antique shops in Old Town should be able to help you find that special gift. There are several shops to browse and even if you don't find anything it will have been a grand time. You can also get an ice cream, a little bit to eat or buy a cowboy hat, its all up to you

Old Town Clovis is centered on Pollasky Avenue in Clovis, California. It is an electic mixture of antique shops, restaurants, and businesses. During the year Old Town Clovis hosts many activities. One of the main events each year is the Farmer's Market which is held each Friday evening during the summer season. It is quite a popular event with a great mixture of vegetable and fruit stands along with several different eating areas. There is also musical entertainment. It also hosts a huge pole vaulting championship event each year right on Pollasky Avenue.. During the year Old Town Clovis also hosts many events such as Big Hat Days, a rodeo parade, and a children's electrical Christmas parade. Old Town Clovis is a nice place to just go and relax.

I like the shops, restaurants, strolling to coffee shops. Great atmosphere. Shops close down early, but the restaurants are open until 9 or 10. The bar scene is good for the college age.

Ok, so I live in Clovis, is that a reason not to love it? The reason we live here is because it is the warmest, friendliest, most comfortable place in the central valley. The folks, the business, and the location, what else is there!

Downtown Clovis has reinvented itself or continued to hold on to a charming 'main street.' The new shops focus on quality merchandise along with unique antique shops concentrated into this four block ( approx) area. Next weekend, Dec. 6 is the charming Christmas parade. A great event.

Whether you are looking for a gift shop, a specialty shop, or are just looking for a bite to eat, Old Town Clovis has it all. Just take a walk down Pollasky and I'm sure you will find something that catches your fancy. It seems like there is some sort of festival or farmers market or other type of event happening every Friday night. They even have antique sales from time to time. There are modern stores too such as Lululemon that have made their way into Old Town Clovis. Needless to say, you need to visit Old Town Clovis to check out all it has to offer.

A pretty place with lots of stores and restaurants! Great if you love antiques/vintage stores! Beautiful fall leaves in November and looked like Christmastime would be lovely as well. Lots of walking, easy parking on street of city lots.

Clovis takes you back in time to small town America. In the summertime they have a farmers market every Friday night. Every week there is a different form of entertainment and good food. People are friendly and streets are full of antique shops.

I liked slowly walking through the antique stores. In one of these a few years past I remember, way in back, I found some 80-100 year old color photos 8" x 10" for sale very cheaply. I bought several for my boss who loves to fly. I like just walking around and looking at all the old stuff I remember from when I was a kid, or things I remember my parents talking about. The bars and restaurants are also good. There's also a small Clovis museum!

Hi there,We were wondering if you had ventured down to Pollasky Avenue - the heart and soul of Old Town Clovis. Many people drive down Clovis Avenue and see a variety of restaurants and bars, but don't know to turn down one block to check out Pollasky Avenue! Give us another chance! We have a great variety of antique stores, boutiques, specialty and gift shops, as well as charming restaurants and cafes. Thank you for your consideration.Regards,The Business Organization of Old Town (B.O.O.T)
