My husband and I were on vacation in La Jolla in mid August and had spent a fabulous day on the beach at Del Mar when we decided to stop for a cold beer before heading back to our hotel. Jimmie O's is a sports bar with 8-9 huge screens inside, great outdoor seating with a view of the Pacific, and a much better-than-average appetizer menu. We sat outside, of course. We thoroughly enjoyed the "Steak Bites" - chunks of marinated filet mignon cooked to order (mine were truly medium rare) - and the Nachitos. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Great way to end the day. When I tried to write a review, this place wasn't listed, so I asked for it to be approved. I also visited its website. Looks like it is quite the night spot, with a crowd a bit younger than we are :) www.jimmyosbardelmar.com
