A group of 25 of us end up @ the amazing and breath taking privet estate of Mick and Susan the founders of Casa Tiene Vista vineyard!This uniq property is one of kind as sitting in the hills top of De Luz and it's beautiful, Mick & Susan are a very generous due and amazing couple with delicious wine! One of the best in the Temecula Vally!Our group has such a great time and enjoyed the afternoon with some the best wine like city light, cab, my favorite the black bird Merlot and collector's cab of 2009 Face the music!!This event was organized by La Bella Vita one of the best Italian restaurant in Temecula and they did great job as well with their dinner after our wine tasting. After meeting Mick and Susan at a wine dinner, I was invited for a private tasting at their vineyard home in Fallbrook. It was absolutely charming and I couldn't imagine a better day. My daughter and I had a delightful time.First, Mick served us a cool light salad to pair with his wines; including Voignier, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noirs and my favorite – “Blackbird Merlot,” a delicious blend of Merlot and Syrah. While sitting at the wine bar, with a beautiful view of the hills on the outside and the lovely historic fine artwork on the inside, Mick entertained us with stories and educational facts about the history behind the grape, winemaking, and the labels. We received some fun lessons to go with the delicious wine. To conclude our visit, Mick led us on a tour of the vineyard grounds and gardens. A trip to Casa Tiene Vista Vineyard is a charming, enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. PS. They have a terrific wine club.
