The name of the place say it all - if want to see Pez dispensers, this is the place. Not a large display space, but the curator is well versed in the history of the dispensers and other memorabilia. Work a stop for the pop culture history lesson. Includes a gift shop with a wide variety of Pez dispensers. An easy walk from the downtown main drag.

How many times a week can you say that! I finally had time to actually go into the Museum part of the PEZ Museum this past week. It is a HOOT! Small, cheap, amusing, won't take a good chunk of your day and a reason to stop in Burlingame! One Half of the museum is a PEZ Store, take your pix next to the worlds largest PEZ dispenser for free! Lots of PEZ to purchase and LEGOS!! For $3 Adult $2 per Child you get to go in the Musuem itself, which is really just a second room. But the Proprietor (Whose name I did not get, I gotta go ask him) comes ALIVE with passions and excitement as he tells you the highlights of his collection. Ask any question about any one of the items in the the Museum, this guy will have the story, the background story and the more. It is was really kind of jolly. I got to show the DD the exact EasyBake Oven I had as a child. Plus lots of cool old toys I have owned. Oh, and PEZ, They got 'em! If you are a PEZ Collector or fan or just like the Candy, you will enjoy the PEZ Museum. Got questions about PEZ? Just ask! If you are a pez collector there is, for sale, PEZ Clothing!! Yes, they actually tried to sell clothing for PEZ dispensers, and they have got em. There are also tons of PEZ dispensers and Candy to buy in the store and you can walk in there for free! Get yourself a cool PEZ Museum Burlingame T-shirt or Mug to remember the fond time you had in Downtown Burlingame! The PEZ Museum is just a few yards away from the Burlingame Train Station, a really cool old Station. It is also across the street from Burlingame avenue, or the AVE as we call it. This is one of two Burlingame shopping streets. And Legos for sale too! Plus an old LEGO display in the museum. You will leave with smile on your face and a PEZ in your mouth! Handicap accessible! Wheelchair accessible, but a tight squeeze. Stroller accessible but again a tight squeeze, but do-able. Parking is generally available right out front with meters bring quarters the BGame MeterMeanies are fast!. California is a VERY busy street! Be careful exiting your car and hang onto little ones hands and cross only at the crosswalks!

still cheap and the best candy. But the store itself was very old and not modern. That doesnt really matter tho.

Been here twice, and would go back each time to support it. We need more places like this! Don't need a long visit, but it's inexpensive and you'll get a personal tour by the owner. If you know your Pez, you'll realize they have some of the rarest dispensers in existence. This was a dream come true for me - someone who collected Pez dispensers as a kid. Fun for people of all ages.

It had been my friend's life-long dream to go the Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia, so we stopped on our way back from SFO. The building actually holds three museums in one: the Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia, the Classic Toys Museum, and the Banned Toys Museum. It's smaller than you would think, consisting of one man's Pez collection in the back behind a curtain, while the front serves as a storefront to sell Pez and assorted other toys. He claims to have one of every Pez ever made, and it sure looks like it. He gives personal guided tours and includes history, fun facts, and can answer almost any question you have about Pez and Pez history. Whether you're a Pez collector or just passing through town, check out the Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia.

$3 & $1-kids is entrance to see original Lego, Pez and banned toys. What a minifigure find, there were so many old ones, just like the Legoland hotel displays. The plus here is it was less than $5.00 to create your own minifigure! This made my son so happy. Great day they had with grandma there. Be sure to walk over to the yummy, gourmet restaurants and pastry shops one block away.

This is advertised as three museums in one! Old toys, Pez, and Bad Toys.It literally is one room. The Old Toys and Bad Toys are one display case each. You do get a "guided tour" where they explain each case and a little trivia about the items. It's small, and along a small strip of normal street stores. But for the price $3 adults, $1 kids, it was something fun to do so you could say you visited the Pez museum. We were there about 20-30 minutes and that was pushing it.

Really fun museum all about pez....I have some pez dispensers myself, so it was fun to see all the different kinds of pez....

My husband is a collector of Pez dispensers and we visit this museum each time we visit Burlingame. The variety and quirkiness of the Pez museum is a lot of fun. Brings back a lot of memories just to step foot in the place. Having a picture taken with the gigantic Pez makes it all worth while!

As other reviews have indicated, it's just two small rooms with a gift shop in the front and some PEZ's in the back, along with a few dangerous, recalled toys. The PEZ's seen on the website are essentially the entire collection.. Can't say there were any PEZ's that were surprises or too bizarre or weird. I actually think I have some PEZ dispensers at home that were not in the museum and I'm not really a collector. All and all, an interesting way to spend 15 minutes if you're in the Burlingame area. I wouldn't go out of your way to get there because you'll probably be disappointed. And the fact that it's called a "museum" really irks me.

I paid a quick visit to this tiny museum. Love the giant PEZ greeting customers in front of store. Lots of PEZ memorabilia. The place is not very big but it was still a fun place to visit when in Burlingame.

I visited the PEZ museum with my family in June 2013. It's small but packed with a lot of PEZ, and worth a visit if in the area. The PEZ museum is basically two rooms, the front is the gift shop/PEZ dispenser shop, and the back is the museum. To go into the museum the cost is $3 for adults and $1 for kids over 4.The front half has every kind of PEZ you can imagine for sale, if you want a certain type, they will have it, or the owner will be able to get it for you. Also in the front is a giant PEZ dispenser. The rear room is the museum, not only is there PEZ items, but also a display case of "outlawed" toys, most of which I had as a child and remember fondly. :-)The owner will take the time to inform you of the history of PEZ and to show you the many items in the museum. He all thought he was very nice and informative. The only negative is that he does not have a bathroom for the customers, but next door is a Honda dealership, and they allow you to use that restroom if needed.I would recommend this attraction to my family and friends if they were in the area.

This museum was a great surprise to find. The museum is located just down the road from the San Francisco airport. I wasn't in San Francisco for this reason but found enough time to pop over to the museum. If you like Pez you will love it. The owner has many new and previous pez for sale. The museum portion is one room with every pez made and other pez related items. I tried to stump him but he really had every one I could think of. He also has a person sized pez that we got our pictures with. It was fun to talk to someone who knows so much about something you collect. If you are not a collector, this might not be for you unless you are just interested in walking down memory lane.

Calling this a museum might be stretching it a bit and it's really two small rooms with a bunch of PEZ dispensers and paraphenalia, but the place is quaint and unique, and the gentleman who runs the place was extremely nice and passionate about his collection. We live in Austria and the fact that PEZ is an Austrian company added to our interest. We especially liked the small section with "bad" toys. Definitely worth a visit for families with your kids.
