Brady's Oysters has been in business for as long as I can remember, but it had been years since we'd stopped to check them out. Headed to Grayland, we decided to stop and pick up some fresh fish for dinner. I was excited to see Petrale Sole in the case and had them wrap up a pound and a half (at $16.00 a pound). Once at our destination I loosened the wrap and was hit by the unmistakable smell of NOT so fresh fish . . . what an expensive disappointment! We passed on their oysters in the shell because they were much dirtier than we're accustomed to purchasing and didn't buy any smoked salmon as all they had available were "collars" at a price far too high for something we used to feed to the raccoons! To salvage our dinner plans, we drove in to Westport and bought fresh Dungeness crab and Ling Cod right off the boat for less than we'd paid for the inedible Petrale Sole!

Had a great time at Brady`s Oyster Place. Big oyster feed with the trimmings. Outside at tables. Some good music on the bandstand. Oysters cooked right in front of us. Steamed or Bar B Qued. They have so much good fresh seafood inside the market. We bought 2 dozen fresh Bay oysters in the shell that they harvest to put on ice & bring home for our bar b que. Fresh live crabs to pick from & other seafood as in season from the ocean. Recommend Brady`s.

Great oysters and lots of other specialty items to sample and buy! Great stop on the way to Westport!

If you love oysters this is the place to stop. They have crabs and clams, etc. You can pick up lemons, butter and seasonings. They have been here a long time. A must stop. They make the best smoked oysters. We have bought them at other places on the Washington and Oregon Coast but Brady's is the best!

Love this little store, right at waters edge, the variety of fish and other ocean eatables is worthy of praise. Live crabs, varieties of Salmon caught fresh daily, plus other unusual items in their store makes this a pleasure to visit.

We drive the 237 mile round trip to get these Oysters. We prefer the Yearlings and buy 4 of 5 pints to bring home. We put then in there container in a ziplock bag and freeze for future use. Also got to try the Calamari and Octopus salads, to die for.

A trip to Westport would not be complete without bringing home a couple of buckets of small/medium oysters to enjoy when we are not near the beach!

My wife and I and a friend stumbled onto this place enroute Westport for the Blue's Festival. We saw what looked like a huge Oyster Roast going on behind the main store and we were right. It was their annual Oyster Roast and what a blast it was with a good band and a ton of oysters roasted on big spits right in front of you along with plenty of Oyster Stew, Clam Chowder and Coleslaw all for a $15 donation to charity. For someone who previously had only raw oysters this was a real, real treat as they were especially delicious cooked this way totally fresh right from the Pacific Ocean....Wow! Just a real great place with very friendly people and great Stevie Ray music.

Great little tourist trap for those willing to pay nearly 20 bucks for a crab! Drive 5 more miles down to the Westport docks and get them for 5 bucks. Little novelty, tourist crafts fill the store, but they do have all the oysters and some fresh fish for you. I heard if you mention "Dragon Lady Discount".......you get 10% off your bill! Not bad, I need to stop in there soon anyway.

The oysters were good and the price was right. I will return to Grayland in August 2012 and visit Bradys again.

Stop at Brady's Oysters for great seafood. This is a family-run fish market, not a restaurant. You'll find fresh and smoked oysters, crab, clams, calamari, salmon, tuna, cod, etc. They also have spice rubs, marinades and cedar grilling planks. We picked up local steelhead for a bbq, plus smoked tuna and salmon -- all delicious. You also get to choose a free over-the-top bumper sticker with every purchase.Although the address says Aberdeen, their location is actually closer to Westport and Grayland. If you're headed that direction, I'd also recommend stopping at Bay City Sausage Company just west of Brady's, on the other side of the Elk River Bridge.
