Invited to dinner by Briar's Creek members. The food was exceptional, as was the service. We were made to feel welcome by the entire staff, as well as other members.

Totally private, you need to be invited by a member, but an unforgettable experience. A two mile drive lined with ancient oaks leads you up to a sumptuous clubhouse. Even though it was a member/guest day we felt we had the course to ourselves.Every hole felt as if it was completely alone and the course was in fantastic shape. Never played on greens this quick but completely true. The finish to each nine is an island green surrounded by marshland. The course is demanding but fair, with stunning views down to the Kiawah River, and not a property in sight.If you get an invitation, take it!

Briar's Creek is absolutely beautiful - it sports very well kept greens, fairways, etc. There is a lot of wildlife - deer, rabbits, alligators, among others. The sand traps are stark white, the lakes are very well taken care of. Many, many old oaks, too.
