Designed for dedicated cycling enthusiasts, the velodrome offers a new state of the art facility for sports in Rock Hill. This facility keeps true to the tradition of excellent outdoor recreations sites in the community beginning with Cherry Park, then the soccer park complex at Manchester, and now the velodrome.Facilities that provide opportunity for many reaching farther than RH or York county... indeed, like its sister attracting, the new velodrome is a tourist destination for many.

Such an amazing place to visit as a spectator or jump in and participate as a cyclist. Great excitment and great family fun!

Not a tree in sight but the track is superb. Rock Hill is fast reclaiming its star power in the cycle world.

I found the biking events to be very interesting. For most events there are snacks sold but on the bigger event, small trucks sell more elaborate items. The atmosphere is a family-friendly one. There is plenty setting for all and great visibility. I am happy to have this in Rock Hill.

Attended the USA Nationals...what a great time. We were able to bring a cooler and pick at dinner as we enjoyed the races. Exciting and inspiring.The stands are concrete so you may want to bring a cushion or bag chair. Also sunglasses as the sun sets directly in front of the seats. Track is outdoors.

First I had no idea how high up the walls of these places are! Looks as though the bikes would fall over; I only watched practice races for about an hour but there is a walking trail close by on the Cataba river you can walk for free so this is a good afternoon trip that will cost you nothing except time. Easy parking.

The city is on track with there programs to draw the public to events, excellent place, top notch track, very professional.
