We went here with our adult kids for a fun day on a HOT august day, what were we thinking! Once you park in the parking lot, you pay for a "bag" to fill with apples, and then a tractor comes and picks you up to take you out to the orchard. Even in the heat it was a pleasant ride and our "trailer" was full of apple enthusiasts also. Once in the orchard there are markers to tell you what types of apples, and the helpers give you tips on where to find what kinds of apples. We tried a couple varieties before we filled our bags, these are great apples, juicy and full of flavor, not like those "pretty" ones in the stores. They have a cute country store, where you can get drinks, and they have a variety of apple related gifts and foods you can purchase, prices were reasonable. There are several picnic tables outside for you to sit and relax and enjoy your drinks or apples, and they provided a cute set up of hay bales to take pictures, which we did. CON: Need more variety of drinks, would rather have a fountain drink than a bottle, to help keep it cold.
