We stopped in to Mr. Marvel's Wondertorium this summer after a day at Circus World Museum and loved it! If you want a truly interactive, personal experience, this is the place for you! Logan will guide you through his unusual collection of oddities, and then grace you with a personal performance that includes blade walking, contortion, fire eating, and glass walking. Get an up close look at side show attractions and learn about the efforts to preserve the history and honor of those who spent their lives entertaining the masses. If you're lucky you'll visit on a day in which they have music and wine on the porch of the Al. Ringling Mansion next door! Chances are, Logan will be there to pour you a glass of wine!
Affordable for families. Interesting enough for adults who don't have children. Highly recommend. Heard their location is moving for 2015 if they are in the old location avoid going when it is really hot because there is not air conditioning in the mansion.
We went this past summer and had a great time. Logan is fun, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Lots of odd and interesting things to see. Children might be scared as my two younger boys 10 and 6 clung to me the whole time but they were also fascinated and afterwards said it was one of their favorite places on the trip. I enjoyed it thoroughly!
We totally enjoyed seeing all the strange and unusual things. Talking to the young man who was involved in his love of the side show brought such insight to the life style and to understand the personal aspect of a side show. Although, I do have to cringe when I remember him walking on glass!!! Highly recommend seeing this!
We found this suggestion on trip advisor and totally loved it. It was fun for our entire group aged between 4 and 52, even the teenagers enjoyed. It is fun for families with small kids and older kids, and friends. Logan's enthusiasm for the sideshow business is contagious! His ability to engage everybody is phenomenal! I already recommended to my friends.
A must see for anyone interested is the bizarre and wonderful. From a bigfoot tooth to glass walking and fire eating the Wondertorium has it all. Vampire hunting kits, shrunken heads, animal oddities and a live show make this the place to be if you love the stranger side of life. Simply wonderful!
Neat sideshow items on display and mini tour with a glass-walking, sword-stepping, fire-eating act at the end! Be sure to stop if you are wandering Baraboo!
Great new attraction in Baraboo. For only $5 per person you can afford to take the whole family. It is like a Ripley attraction , but with a personal tour guide. Logan also does a live show afterwards , Amazing !!!
The Wondertorium is just a big room filled with odd and interesting stuff...what really made this place awesome was Logan - he did some amazing things like walk on broken glass, walk up a machete staircase, ate fire & other things, you will be surprised and amazed! He is full of great information about the items in the wondertorium and their history. You can tell he really has a passion for this. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this stop!
We had a blast here, totally unexpected-the tour was entertaining and informative then Logan springs a show on you at the end. Fantastic. Just go, you won't regret it.
I love this kind of stuff and this is as good as I've seen. Logan has an incredible number of oddities and he has a nice story to go with each of them. All but a few are authentic and he points out which are not. Even these are interesting. His live show was also very good. He let me stand on his head with his face on crushed glass. Only wish he could have sawed my girlfriend in half. See if you can spot the wholly mammoth incisor. At $5 this is a must do when in Baraboo.
Our children loved this attraction! Set in a mysterious environment next to an amazing mansion, our tour guide filled our imaginations with curious delights. The live show was incredible. Although small, this was a highlight to our vacation. At $5 per adult it was well worth our stop.
I'd read the other reviews and couldn't wait to see what this place entailed. I was pleasantly surprised and highly recommend the Wondertorium if you are interested in circus side show exhibits and their history. Logan was very knowledgeable and very interesting to talk with. Good luck with your book! The live acts enthralled our 5 year old.
