One of the best places to visit in Chippewa Falls. The gifts are really priced well and the staff is very friendly. You can go on tours of the facility. It is also conveniently located near Irvine Park and Bresina's Take Out so you can spend a pretty awesome day and only have to park once.
Nothing just like it in Chippewa Falls. Very stylish lodge, free Beer samples and a century old brewery you can visit throughout the whole production process. Very nice staff in the Lodge and throughout the Brewery
Easy access off of highway 29 & within walking distance of historic downtown Chippewa Falls. Daily tours are informative and fun. Some walking is involved as you tour the grounds but not extensive. Elevator is provided for those that can't do stairs. Big perk is the tour is FREE! Tours available every day but the packaging is not operating on the weekends. The area is still shown on the tour. Opportunities to sample beer before & after the tour, shop and have photos taken are available in the Leinie Lodge. For $1 you receive a nice beer sampling glass that you can return for your $ back when you're done sampling or keep for a souvenior. In the summer on Sunday afternoons, live music is provided outside in the beer garden along the creek. Beautiful and picturesque. You won't be disappointed that you stopped!
offers a $1 tour complete with history of the brewery and samples. Great reasonably priced products (sweatshirts, tshirts, etc) great place to visit in chippewa falls
I have toured here with friends from all over the country. For a long time I treated it like a joke, just part of a small town but when a cousin from California wanted to go there, I went along and now I take all of our out of town visitors there. The shop is nice, and so is the tour. There is a fee for the beer samples after the tour.. it used to be free. But the fee is small. $5 I think.
The Leinie Lodge is very nice. It was built approx. 2008. The tour is good. They talk a lot about the history of the family and the different challenges throughout the years. You do get a couple free 4 oz beers. I would recommend it to visitors.
The Leinenkugels brewery isn't the biggest one around, but there's still much to be learned about the beer, the family, and the town. Even if you're not into brewery tours, you might enjoy this one because it's not very long and it still holds your attention ... or you can skip the tour and hang out in the cozy Leinie Lodge sipping beer, shopping, and browsing the photos, old bottles, and other pieces of history on display. The tour guides and Lodge staff are always very friendly and helpful.
If you go on the tour, you'll see how beer is made, processed, bottled and also get some history of the brewery and Leinenkugel family. The Lodge has gifted and beer!
Spent an afternoon at the Leine's Lodge during a scrapbooking weekend with the girls. I have taken the tour here before and it's great. Very informative. This time around we just hung out in the lodge. Lots to see....history, merchandise and of course, BEER!!!!! You can try 5 beers for $5 and you will get a small souvenir glass to keep. You can try a variety of Leinie's beers or some mixtures of two Leinie's beers, very fun!!!! While you sip you can browse the huge lodge and store. Lots of fun Leinie's gear! A wonderful place to visit with very nice staff!!!!!
This used to be a regular stop for us on our way up north, but we stopped in this week and they were charging $5 for the same small samples. A lot of the cool breweriana is no longer on display either. It's a shame because we really looked forward to this stop. Spent lots of money over the years, too. It's worth checking out if you've never been, but we won't be back for a while.
Its a brewery tour, not my favorite brewery tour, but it was fun. You get to sample beer when your done. I'd go again if I were in the area. Always neat to see Wisconsin history, even better when beer is involved.
It's where Jack is from (Titanic). The lodge has everything you need...clothes, accessories and fun stuff. The large fireplace and a half-moon bar for samples of Leinie's. And when it's the right season, step outside and enjoy the creek running past the lodge on your way to the historic tour of the brewery
One of the biggest reasons I come to the area is to visit Leinie's. Never have a bad experience when I come. Still really wish they would sell the beer at the brewery as we would've bought some to take home. They had a few beers I've been wanting to try, but weren't available (Helles Yeah and Winter's Bite). I loved the Snowdrift Vanilla Porter! On the way out we found out that they had a Membership (free), and we took home a free pint glass and 6 pack of Orange Shandy. No mention of the membership was given throughout the whole experience...they should be promoting that!
Although this great establishment is only 20+ miles from my home, it's a "go-to" place when we want to have a great time in a historic setting or when we have company from out of town. The woodsy large lodge has everything you can possible need or want for clothes, accessories and fun gadgets. The large fireplace and comfy couches are a great place to relax when you want to sit and chat. Or stand around the half-moon bar for samples of Leinie's...yum! And when it's the right season, step outside and enjoy the creek running past the lodge on your way to the historic tour of the brewery. I love this place!
They have 5 samples, plus, I bought a shirt and some other stuff and got a free six pack. They had some of their new seasonals out and those were great to get a first taste. Also, while I was there a local dairy brought in fresh cheese curds (Saturday). They were a real treat and I bought a pound of those! The brewery tour was abbreviated because of construction, but, the treatment and beer tasting was great!
