This is a wonderful facility for a town the size of Hudson. Galleries, community theater, children's theater programs, art classes are all offered in a great space. Music programs are exceptional, as is the quality of the theater. Drawing on the large theater community of the Twin Cities, they consistently produce high quality shows.

Wonderful space to show art, nice light throughout. Beautiful river view... Cool break from the noise and heat of an outdoor festival in the park nearby. Not one dislike!

Loved stopping by on our way through the area to see the galleries of interesting art on exhibit. What creativity! Looks like a great place for all ages to enjoy the complete art scene! I hope locals appreciate what they have in this fine facility!

In small-town Hudson an incredible Arts Center thrives. We love the Phipps for its amazing art galleries, theater productions and music concerts. The variety of programs is incredible. In December, we saw hands-down, the best ever production of White Christmas. In March, an exquisite concert of Irish music and dance was offered. In April, a hilarious comedy play "Fox on the Fairway" had us laughing for hours. The Phipps is truly an arts center gem. You'll be delighted and uplifted by any program or concert you attend. Bravo to Hudson and their fantastic Phipps Center!

How many things can you possibly cram into one 'artsy-creative' building?! A pottery studio, 2 theatres, several arts/crafts studios, at least 2 dance studios, places for instrumental classes, offices, a small art gallery and several display areas, and a small store… and a partridge in a pear tree, no doubt. A lovely selection of productions almost year-round, changing art displays, community classes and outreach, kids' camp in the summer, and a Werlitzer organ round out the place... All right on the waterfront by the park and trails.What can I say - just go do anything there!

This is one of the finest "small town" arts centers we have ever encountered. If you ever have occasion to see a concert, art exhibit, theater organ event, play (or other) - don't hesitate. It really is beyond comprehension that a town of this size supports, sustains and rejoices in this facility. Bravo Hudson!!!

Looked for something fun to do on New Year's Eve and came upon "Broadway's Best" at the Phipps Center for the Arts. Had never been there, so thought we'd give it a try. Called and ordered tickets and booked a table at another favorite, Mama Maria's, also in Hudson. Kind of worried as the date neared because it was supposed to be really cold. Ended up being a Great evening! The champagne chicken at Mama Maria's was perfect, as usual, and the show at the Phipps featuring Collen Raye, Debbie O'Keefe, and Katie Gearty was thoroughly enjoyable. The Phipps was easy to find, parking was ample, and all seats in the theatre were good. We will definitely be back. We had such a good time, we didn't even notice how cold it was.

Always have a good mix of comedy, drama, music and art. Haven't had a bad experience there in all the years we've been attending.

The Phipps is a wonderful facility producing excellent quality shows. This is only a couple of steps removed from off Broadway productions with a professional staff that does some amazing work. The facility also has a very classy art gallery and a unique little gift store.

Wonderful productions take place here and they are always top notch, with local cast members. They have two theaters, one is smaller, and mostly used for children's productions. We go to one or two plays a year. I would highly recommend!!!

It was totaly Wonderfull! Lots of Trivia good songs music and costumes. The show was very personal and well put together.

If you have not seen a live theater show, your must! It's amazing what the local performers can do. The facility and people are so wonderful! This place must never go away.Recently saw Little Mermaid and it was breathtaking!

Took my family to see Madeleines Christmas. We had great seats, it was a great show. I loved the fact that it is located just 10 minutes from our home. The production was just two hours long and kept my girls attention the entire time.

Beautiful facility, great location. We saw the members show in the visual art gallery.There were summer classes for children going on. Busy place, lots of activities. Would enjoy seeing a play or music performance. I got on the mailing list!

I've enjoyed Celtic and contemporary dance programs and the musical "Fiddler on the Roof" at the Phipps. The performances were outstanding. Because the theater seating is limited, getting tickets early for a popular performance is advisable. An added plus is the art gallery is always enjoyable to tour prior to the performance. Visiting the Phipps has never been a disappointment.
