This walk is on both sides of river and covers six blocks. There are restaurants and some shops along the way. You may see an occasional sculpture.

A truly fascinating awesome enthralling passageway/portal between urban life and water/natural life. This beautiful walk appeared unique to us since we were not use to these amenities back home. I was aware of a Riverwalk atmosphere in San Antonio, Texas, but had not experienced it; this was a pleasant surprise for us as an unexpected addition to our visit. We enjoyed seeing such visuals as The Bronze Fonz, the beautiful boats docked next to city destinations, the team rowing practice for an upcoming event, the city landscape and skyline in general from these points. Riverwalk is a definite aesthetic and functional asset to a beautiful downtown. A memory to be experienced and enjoyed by all, whether a visiting tourist, local business person, or anybody else wanting to create positive thought during a respite from other activities, if even during a lunch hour.

I love walking on the RiverWalk! It gives you a great overview of the city and there are plenty of places to stop and get food or drinks along the way.

We were looking for a nice way to walk off the amazing brat and beers from The German Beer Hall and this was perfect!

There are many venues along the Milwaukee River walk from restaurants and cafes, to theaters with live entertainment and concerts, as well as business venues and shopping. The walk itself is fairly new and you can also see the bronze "Fonzie" statue, from the "Happy Days" TV Series which was based on the Milwaukee area. Fonzie himself has actually visited the site. The river itself offers tour boats and you will see many docks along the way where a wide variety of boats and yachts are anchored. It is one on my favorite places because of the actrivity, and outdoor options it offers.

The Milwaukee Riverwalk is a recent addition to Milwaukee's cityscape. It is an unqualified success. It is beautiful at dusk or at night. There are plenty of eateries, bars, and coffee shops along true walk. My only warning is that some of the boaters on passing boats can be annoying when they have consumed too much alcohol.

This is a nice walk, going past the infamous Bronze Fonz. It's nice to have a scenic route instead of walking on the streets.

If you are in Milwaukee you must do the Riverwalk. Beautiful Holiday lights this time of year. There are so many places to stop along the riverwalk, if you want to eat, drink, or shop the Riverwalk has it all. Fun times with friends and Family.

Lovely place to be, especially when the climate is good and when its little dusky out there. Looks beautiful at night with all the lights coming up and restaurants besides the riverwalk calling you for more.

The river's not particularly beautiful or anything, but it's a nice place to go for a walk. Lots of restaurants along the way as well, along with the Bronz Fonz and Gertie the Duck, make it a quick but worthwhile experience.

Great to walk at lunch time and see the frozen river in winter and ducks in summer. Several restaurants have outdoor seating at the river. Enjoy

The RiverWalk is on both sides of the river, so when you get to the end of one side you can cross a bridge and start all over on the other side. Both sides are full of mostly bars and restaurants, but a few shops are always accessible. Summers in Wisconsin are hard to beat and this is a must-do activity for locals and visitors. Great people-watching. Grab a seat at one of the restaurants and watch the boaters.

We decided to walk to the Milwaukee Public Market from the BMO Harris Bradly Center. It was about a mile walk & we walked along the river walk when we could. It's a cute way to make your way through downtown vs . just walking on the sidewalks. I'm not sure I'd call it an attraction but it was a neat little walk if you're in the area.

there even were parts of it closed up; but we didn't know that until we walked a long way...really, this might be fun in summer/nice weather, but on this sunny but cool fall day, there was nothing to visit and nothing to enjoy all along the walk...sorry; not a reason in my mind, to come back to
