u rent em canoe livery

Had a very nice canoe trip, did the Charlton Park to Hastings section on the Thornapple River, about 5 hours at leisurely pace with some fishing. Very scenic and surprisingly undeveloped, has an "up north" feel but only a short ride from Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, or Grand Rapids. They also rent kayaks and float tubes. Has a reputation for very good smallmouth fishing though not much luck for us today. Very cool!
