eagle eye golf club

Our threesome played Eagle Eye, part of the Hawk Hollow golf resort on October 8, 2014. It was sunny but cool and windy, which added to the challenge of the course. I have played most of the resort courses in Michigan and found this one to rank up there with the best of them. It is an open links style course so the wind can be a definite factor. Lots of undulations and slope in the fairways and greens and plenty of water lurking on the sides. Some of the fairways had undergone aeration recently, but you could see the course is in great condition and very manicured. Generous fairways give you room to drive the ball, but it tightens up on the approach shot. The 17th hole is a gut wrenching short par 3 to an island green. Overall it is a challenging, but fair test of golf was a good value at $53 through GolfNow in the fall. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would gladly return to this course located in the Lansing, Michigan area.

Picturesque course with many challenging and unique holes. Quick and true greens. If you hit the ball straight you can score well here. Staff are pleasant and accomodating and the green fees are reasonable. My wife and I would both recommend a round here.

This is a great course! It's in super shape and is definately a challenge. The fairways are like carpet. The greens are large and none are flat. Fair yardage from a senior female prespective. My husband struggled some with his lung issues with the hills around the greens where carts weren't allowed. Beautiful clubhouse with nice bar and proshop. Nicely landscaped. Real restrooms on course. Hawk Hollow, a sister course, on the same road - not quite as hard or expensive but just as lovely. Check golfnow.com for deals.

Great track. This is as close to the conditions you would find at private club. The course is in top notch shape. Tough but fair. Big fairways, long rough, fast greens. You will enjoy this course but do your self a favor and buy a yardage book in the pro shop as there are some things you can't see from the tee. Also the par threes have the days yardage at the tee and they are spot on. Enjoy.
