Took three granddaughters and we had a wonderful time. There were activities on the inside when you enter. The animals were well kept and plenty of stations where the children could feed and interact with animals. I could hardly get them to leave.

Lovely walking path around the lake, beautiful historic wedding chapel, or just a relaxing place to sit on a bench and take in the scenery.

Going through Santa's Magic Forest will bring out the child in you. From the delightful displays, beautiful Christmas lights and heartwarming scenes; you will not regret coming here. There are some displays from the former JL Hudson's 12th floor, Winter Wonderland. Sigh...brings back so many memories. Taylor's Santa's Magic Forest will capture your heart! For a nominal fee, have your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as write a letter to Santa. This was so much fun! See you there!

I live a few miles from this park and have to say I have grow fond of it over the past few years. It's a huge park with softball, soccer, little leauge baseball, walking paths, and a 16 acre stocked pond for catch and release fishing, no license required. The city hold festivals and many diffenert events year round at the park. There is a petting farm, gardens, a chapel, a gazzebo, historical building throught and a covered bridge. A great place to throw a line in and spend the day relaxing.

On the surface it is not a spectacular park, but once you get there and see how much there is to offer, it is rather remarkable for a town that has no downtown or main street. The petting farm is nice for kids, not huge, but good way to get to see and pet farm animals. The baseball field complex is pretty extensive and hosts some pretty big time talent throughout the summer. The plants in the conservatory are well tended and quite beautiful. there are summer concerts in the evenings. The buildings that make up the historical section are nice, it's not Greenfield Village, but what is. They surround a lake that has fishing. often weddings are held in the chapel. The library is adjacent and around Christmas they have the animated decorations from the old Hudson's Department Store in downtown Detroit on display. Brings back memories for the older folks and kids love them still. All in all a nice place to spend some time. The petting farm and Hudson display have a nominal charge. There are numerous pic nic tables around the park with grills. There is also a candy store.

Heritage Park is a large park with large facilities and many things to do.Located on Pardee Road between Northline and Goddard, you can enter the park from either Pardee or on Northline at Racho Road. Here are a few things the park offers:-Historical buildings (Chapel, box car, log cabin, etc.)-Ice cream shoppe.-Sports facilities (baseball fields, soccer fields, etc.)-Petting Farm-Botanical Gardens-Picnic facilities (tables, grills, restrooms, playgrounds)-Fishing pond-and more! It's a great place to take a walk, let the kids run free or visit during a special event. I used to work right around the corner and I would drive over here to eat my lunch. The grounds are always kept well with the manicured lawn free of trash. I would say most people who live in the area have been at least once. If you haven't, stop by!I've included just a few pictures of my recent visit. If you found this review helpful, please let me know by clicking the button below! Thank you!

I grew up in Taylor and this is the one place I really like to go to and walk. Some of shops are really nice too.

We went on Memorial Day and unfortunately most of the shops were closed. We had a nice walk around the lake and got some ice cream in the sweet shop. The park is clean and quiet and has lots of places to sit or to walk. There is a lot of history here with signs to explain each building.

Heritage Park is a great location for a BBQ, walk or a game of softball. The park is beautiful and the city did a great job putting all of the historic buildings on display. There is also a petting farm for children. Great place to spend a few hours or a whole day!

This was our first trip to Heritage Park Petting Farm. It was cold out and the ground was covered in snow. They had several rabbits in the first building we walked in to pay for our visit. It was $3.00 per person. Then we walked out to the main barn with all of the animals. They had 1 cow, a few chickens, 1 goose, 2 white alpaca's, 2 donkeys, horses, several goats, 2 pigs and a few more rabbits. The barn was smaller than I expected it to be. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They let us into each stall to pet the animals. We didn't stay very long since they just had the one barn open to visit and it was cold out. We will go back when in warms up.

I'm a resident of Taylor and we are proud of our park. It's family friendly with something for everyone. Some of Taylor's historic buildings have been moved to the park. A casual stroll around the pond will take you to most of the buildings. There are many Canadian geese and mallard ducks around, so you do need to watch where you are stepping. Despite this, I enjoy watching them swim in the pond. For me, it's peaceful and relaxing. In the spring and fall we look forward to hearing and seeing both ducks and geese flying in their V shaped pattern. But for the park, we would never see them. Sit back, relax and enjoy. There is no cost for the park but one or two of the attractions have fees.

Had a couple hours to kill between dropping a family member off @ DFW and my own flight. This park is a very nice diversion, just a few minutes from the airport. Offers a fishing pond, run/walk/bike paths, sports fields & historic buildings. Just outside are a petting farm & small botanical garden. Much better than sitting around the airport for 4 hours & much prettier!
