It's a little off the beaten path but a cute little place to discover. Has a lot of charm and interesting things to try. You can get a draft cider, cheese, crackers and assorted picnic items and eat outside enjoying the fresh country air. Love the Macintosh apple knobs on the cider tappers. Very cute and hand made by a local artisan named Walt.

My husband and I decided to check out the place after seeing one of their brochures. The owner who was giving the tastings was very friendly and knowledgable about the alcohol and fruit. My husband tried several nice fruit wines and also liked the hard pear cider, and especially the iced cider. He likes sweeter wines and cider and didn't care for their hard Apple cider or dry wines. I don't drink alcohol and was a bit frustrated that they didn't have any non alcoholic cider to try. It was all frozen the owner said. I think it would make sense for him to get out a half gallon of it for a weekend when us non alcohol drinkers and families may be stopping by. He also had some honey, maple syrup, cheese and fudge for sale. He let us try some fudge and cheese. The dilly Jack cheese was very dilly and nice, but best on a sandwich cold or warm. The dill flavor disappeared when we grilled it. We also bought some cheese curds to try frying.

We head to South Haven every summer for fruit picking and always swing in to McIntosh for apple cider and cheese curds on the deck.

My mom and I stopped here just this past weekend. It's an apple orchard/cider mill and also a winery. When we got there, the wine tasting counter was pretty busy, so we got donuts and cider, sat on the wrap around porch, and by the time we were done, there was no one left a the wine tasting counter. We got the servers undivided attention! We got to try 4 wines for free. They also had hard apple cider. They have wines for those who like dry and those who like sweet. We both walked out with bottles and hard cider as well. The staff were helpful and friendly, and there is a bit of a gift shop too. Well worth the stop!

This place should only be advertised as a winery. We went thinking they would have donuts and cider. They had donuts but the only cider they serve is hard cider, and no apple picking...FYI

Awesome, friendly atmosphere with wine from apples... Not the grape orchard - but great wine tasting, hard cider and music...If you are in the area, stop in for a fun time. We brought our relatives from North Dakota and they left with armloads...

My husband and I were visiting wineries and decided to stop here. The wine tasting was done by very friendly staff. They were busy as they are one of the stops on a wine trail by a bus service and a wagon tour service, but not too busy to serve us. They have a variety of fruit wine. You can share a bottle in the orchard on picnic tables or on the porch. They also have small servings or organic cheeses and some crackers to purchase. My husband and I bought a chilled bottle of white wine, some cheeses, crackers and walked across the parking lot to buy a pint of fresh blueberries and two fresh peaches from their orchard. It was a nice afternoon!

Stopped in on a cool, windy Wednesday afternoon looking for something fun to do. Had the option of tasting 4 samples for free or pay $5 for 6 samples and keep the etched glass. We opted for the latter. All the wines are fruit flavored - pear, berry, apple, etc. The sample sizes were ridiculously tiny - could hardly even taste the wines. They were no more than a tablespoon each. You would think that since we opted for the pay version, she'd at least give us enough to TASTE. (The samples were free poured, not measured). Missy was really stingy and this place was a real disappointment. We won't be back. Bought some cheese curds (from Wisconsin). Hope they're good at least. I will say, on their behalf, however, that the place was clean, nicely decorated and there were a variety of other items to buy as well - jams, sauces, wine-related items, etc. Bottles of wine ran around $12.00, FYI.

We stopped on a Thursday afternoon. The server seemed annoyed not everyone in our group was tasting. She also seemed very distracted and anxious for us to leave.

This little winery is within minutes of our home and conveniently located between South Haven and Holland on an old country road where you would least expect it. In fact, we have passed by it for years and never stepped foot in it until recently and have now made several trips there! This little winery has a very cozy, homey - mom and pops type feel to it. Which I love! Employees treat you more like you are in their own personal homes offering you a glass of wine over a conversation at the kitchen table as well as plenty of information about the wines in question. All the wines are made from fruit that are grown on site, or from other farmers in the immediate area. Another thing I love! The bottles are very reasonable in price and range anywhere from $5.50 for a bottle of Hard Cider which is a MUST try, to $12 for a regular bottle. A few of our favorites are Bear Naked, Blueberry, Hard Cider - Semi Dry and Pear. If in the area, stop in you won't regret it :)

We visited the McIntosh Orchard/Winery within the last few weeks. We rented a lake house on Scott Lake in Pullman, Michigan just outside of South Haven. This orchard/winery was a pleasant find and I'm so glad we took the country drive to find it. Their fruit wines were wonderfully refreshing and we even sampled and purchased some pickled asparagus that was a big hit with our entire family. I would recommend this little gem without hesitation!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to South Haven with two teenage girls. The shop is very quaint and has different samples of everything they sell from wine to pickled asparagus (which is incredible) to apple cider doughnuts (also not to miss). Plus, there is a place to buy snacks and sweet cider. We had a french baguette with two types of dipping sauces for $4. The prices were extremely reasonable for the high quality of food. This would be a great place to take a date and order a bottle of wine, the french bread, and a cheese tray and sit outside at one of the many tables and just enjoy the day.

My sister and I found McIntosh while on a day out just riding around enjoying the country side.We saw the sign and wanted to try it. Wow. We sat on the porch w/ a delicious bottle of wine and some wonderful cheese, a baggette w/ bread dip. Excellent!! The tasting bar has many of their wines that you can taste. We have since been back for other events and never had a bad experience w/ the staff, wine, tastie snacks and the owner is a friendly sort as well.

Cute little place to sample some fruit wines (mostly sweet, but not all) and their lovely hard ciders. They have a couple of tables where you can sit and sample or you can stand at the bar. Very happy to let you sample as many wines/ciders as you like. I prefer a drier wine and was pleased with their Golden Russet White, and their semi-dry cider. Bottle prices are reasonable at $10-12/bottle. We couldn't pass up the Apple Cider doughnuts either. Plenty of things to sample besides their wines/ciders, including fruit butters and cheeses.

My first wine tasting experience! Finally found a wine I like- the pear wine! Reasonable prices. Enjoyed learning about the process of cider making and wine making by the owner. Friendly staff.
