My husband and I have both wanted to zip line and we were not disapointed. It was a fabulous experience. The views from the towers and along the lines are of beautiful Ozarks Hills. The ground school made it easy to learn steering, braking and self rescue (that's not what it sounds like). Our guides, Manda and John were gracious and patient with our picture taking but totally focused on their jobs. We never felt concern for our safety. We were clipped on to something constantly. We were very impressed with their level of professionalism. It was worth the drive and we are ready to go again.
Me and my grandmother went up there and had a blast! The instructors were really helpful. I recommend asking for the kid with pink sunglasses. It's always nice when your instructor is really cute. Makes you listen more and pay attention. Him helping me put the harness on was the best part. ;) It was a lot of fun, they have a "training zip line" Where they show you how to steer, brake and that kind of stuff. Once you go down the first one you want to go down the next one! It's not that scary either!
Even though he had some experience on a zipline, he had not experienced one this long. The line was in 4 separate sections, each being a little longer and faster. The training the instructors gave seemed very well planned and useful. Even though my grandson was experienced enough to zip as a single, one of the instructors volunteered to go tandem with him on the last leg so that he could go faster and further to the last tower.
This was a fun place to do zip lines. The people are friendly. It does take a while to drive to it, is the only draw back.
This was our first time zip-lining. Myself, husband and two kids (16 and 17) gave it a whirl. The staff was friendly and fun. Hawkeye (our guide) made us feel at ease. I would definitely recommend this location for a zipping good time.
This was a great experience! I took my wife and 2 sons ages 13 and 15. We were warmly greeted by Missy one of the owner operators of the outdoor facility. This place has lots to offer from camping to canoeing and of course the new Zip-Line. The instruction was breif and to the point at the beginning and had a nice practice zip line set up for demonstration. The Zips got progressively faster as you progressed to different segements nestled in the thick Oaks of the Ozarks. The condition of equipment and platforms and cables was prestine and well built, I felt safe the whole way through. I have zip lined other places including Honduras, I can say with no hesitiation this is a great place to get your zip on. If you are in the area of central Missouri dont hesitate to visit this facility! NRO thanks for the good time! Sean McKenney - Phoenix Arizona
