This is a unique, small, off the beaten path of the large well known Hermann wineries. The owner is a former chef who has developed some drinking wines, but more importantly, and some really interesting cooking wines. The wines here are non grape with great stories behind them - the owner is very interesting to chat with about the development of his wines. Prices on the wines are excellent. Stop here if you love to cook and experiment with unusual wines. It is truly a unique experience.

The father and son that hosted us were entertaining and informative. We had the best time at this winery! They have unique wines and are passionate about what they do, which is why we loved it so much.

For some unique wines, this is a great place to come visit. The setting is nothing fancy, but the owner is very personable and ready to share his wines. We enjoyed a number of tastings (no charge), and I bought Raspberry Chipotle. It has a kick, but nothing like the jalapeno wine!!!When in the Hermann area, I'd recommend for you to try to find time to visit this small winery.

Small winery with a friendly host. Free wine tasting. Easy to access from the highway. Purchased a bottle of jalapeno wine.

This was my favorite winery, with my favorite wine on our visit this past weekend. I loved that the wine maker was the one doing the tastings, much more informative than the tastings you get from barely 21 year old kids who learn what to say about the wine by reading descriptions in orientation. Very unique and a must see.

This is a rustic winery that features fruit wines. The tasting is complimentary and the owner/host clearly has a passion for what he's doing. He allowed us to take our time and offered us lots of interesting information about the wines and potential food pairings. Very different (superior) vibe than visiting the bigger wineries that are staffed with employees.

Got a tasting from the owner/wine maker. VERY friendly, VERY personable. Enjoyed talking with him, and bought wine when we left. The wine maker is a retired CHEF, so it was fun hearing his ideas for cooking with his wines. Nicely landscaped yard.

Heard about this place from Laurie (our host at the B&B). Wine made from everything but grapes....definitely different. We bought the blueberry and it was the closest thing to red wine. We did get a tour of where the wine was made.

Everyone was so kind and helpful! The wines are excellent and it is also in a beautiful location along the Missouri River.

The owner is a retired chef and he has crafted some interesting wines which we use while cooking. We sometimes even put it in the food. The two that I'm talking about are his Raspberry Chipotle Wine and Jalapeno/Raisin Wine. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

This small winery likes to push the envelope with novel "fruit wines" such as pineapple wine, pecan wine with raisins, raspberry chipotle, and jalapeno raisin wine (everything but grape). The owner is an experienced chef. The tasting is fun, as the owner tells a unique story about each wine. After so many wines at so many wineries can be largely close to one another, this will be memorable, even if some of the wines don't work. But know that the tasting facility, while clean, totally lacks imagination and any sort of appeal. It's boring and small. There's no particular view. Nothing going on. You're basically looking into the back of someone's house. So the wines will hold your attention and will probably amuse you. And you may click with one or two. I recommend you go to experience the creativity. But you probably won't stay real long for the ambiance.

I did enjoy this winery because it is something different than what you will find inside Hermann. If you are driving into Hermann I suggest to stop and try their different wines. They are interesting and their jalapeno wine is great to cook with!!

Endless Summer is a newer startup operation and unique winery. Well worth the stop just north of Hermann. The fruit wines are wonderful !

While I am a fan of the non-grape wine, I found nothing here that was interesting too me. I felt I wasted my time (about a hour) driving out and back from Hermann. Only funny item was the guy's talk about not using any grape in his wine, but finding multiple items with raisins: It seems odd that they do not seem to know that raisins are just dried grapes. LOL...
