This place was pretty much a home that an extreme Elvis fan turned into a shrine for Elvis. This home was featured in People magazine at one time. The gentleman who owned this home, Mr.McLeod has since died and last time I checked it had been permanently closed. It was basically filled with lots of pictures and different memorabilia that this gentleman had collected over the years in tribute to his favorite artist Elvis Presley. The gentleman also named his son after Elvis.

Mr.McCloud is gone but the King has not left the building. It is downtown Holly Springs at it's finest. His neighbor is there to repeat the stories. It needs a lawn contract. But holy ground yes it is . Anybody that loved Elvis that much gets a pass. Go there have a burger at Phillips grocery, GPS can find it! Check out the Idea B. Wells @ Historical Museum its all close together !

This place is great to go to see Elvis's 2nd place of autographs and history of his musical brilliance.

No words can describe what you will experience there.it's a barbed wired boarded resemblance of a replica of Graceland if it were run down. The owner talks a mile a minute and it's difficult to determine what is accurate. It is also difficult to determine what of his collection is authentic and what is Junk. Nevertheless it is an interesting unforgettable experience, to say the least,

I went to a conference in Memphis and met some great people. We all had flights on Saturday and we got done with the conference about 2 pm Friday. We all (7 people that didn't really know each other) decided to rent a van and drive there. we arrived about an hour before sun down and that made the experience all the better. The other descriptions are correct, but there is something about that place that draws you in. One guy in the group almost had a heart attack (for real) while we were there. Everything about the place is wrong, but we humans are attracted the strange things. The group of 7 of us will be forever bonded all because this experience. I hate cliche's, but the best word I can think of is "EPIC". You have got to go see this place before the old guy dies. The fee is a couple bucks and a can of Coke, not Pepsi.

Floplace

It's every bit as oddball as reviews say--a narcissistic hoarder in a house so jammed with Elvis stuff that it's a miracle it hasn't caught on fire. And the tour isn't even about Elvis, it's about the obsessive owner of all the junk. Yet somehow, we three couples (grown ups, not drunken college kids) couldn't stop talking about how weird the whole thing was. I would echo the caution not to go there alone or without guys in the group--Mr. McLeod comes across as not-quite-all-there.

Do not go here alone and if you are a group of girls, definitely add a few fellas to your group. When the owner asks if you're married, SAY YES! Even if you're not. He will hit on you and make you sing Elvis karaoke. If you are looking for some odd entertainment, this is the place. It costs a few bucks, but if you go 3 times you become a lifetime member . . . I could never bring myself to go back, although I do have a couple of friends who are lifetime members because they took other friends. Could be interesting around Halloween . . . maybe Christmas season (that's when I went) Bottom line - strange place, don't go alone, ladies shouldn't go without at least one guy.

My wife and I stopped here by mistake. We were passing through town and saw the strangest house ever and my wife wanted pictures. When we stopped the owner came out and introduced himself. We had read about this place so we thought we knew what to expect, but we were wrong. From the time you go in to the time you leave it's Elvis overload. The owner is the strangest person that I have ever met. He has been obsessed with Elvis for so long that he can't talk about anything else. The house is full of Elvis stuff from the floor to the roof and there is a story for everything. Words can't describe how weird this place is and how weird you feel inside the house. It was kind of like going through a haunted house. I was really worried that we may not make it out alive. I would not want this place near my house. If you go make sure you are in a large group. The owner is probably harmless but he did mention a few times all the guns he owns. He was the strangest person I have ever met in my life and I have traveled around the world and seen a lot of crazy things.
