I don't know why they need to move, the Rock Cat stadium is perfect for the venue. Well placed and plentiful concession stands and ample facilities. Town of New Britain should try to keep this in their community

The ballpark is smaller than a major league park, of course, but you may very well see players that will eventually end up on one of the major league teams, especially the Minnesota Twins, as the Rock Cats are their AA affiliate team. Entertainment is often sheduled before, during, and after the game, and there are regular specials on food, as well as fun giveaways. You can check the website for a list of special events happening on game day/night. Watching a game on a warm spring or summer day or as the sun sets in the evening is great, family fun. Not to mention that the admission prices are very reasonable, and group rates are available as well. We have gone often..

It is a wonderful way to spend time with friends and family. It is a great stadium, they whole family has fun. It is inexpensive, and a nice way to stay outside, and enjoy a good game of baseball. The kids love Rocky the Rock Cat, and the fun things they do with the kids at the game.

In terms of sight lines, this ballpark is one of the best that I have ever been to (and I've been to over a dozen ballparks). With that said, the seating is cramped with your neighbor right on top of you. Additionally, if someone has to go by, there's a good chance it is going to be a very tight squeeze. Lastly, I would suggest going during the week if you want to watch the ballgame and not be distracted by kids who are running around and making a lot of noise. With everything said, if you're a baseball purest and want to check this place off on your list, then I'd say go...but if you want a totally enjoyable experience from comfort to not being bother by others, then skip this visit.

It isn't the top players, but good baseball. Sometimes you luck out and see a major leaguer on rehab assinment. Very affordable for families

As going to spoting events with a family is so over-priced, it is great that thee is alocal baseball stadium that ives great specials and values for amilies! Great place.

Even or this symphony and theater-loving lass, this ball park has a lot to offer and is a great place for families. An inexpensive outting, and it's so good to see dads with their kids. Us oldsters enjoy it, too!

Easy to get to,easy parking($4 general, $6 preferred(not really necessary) admission prices are very fair, ticketsellers very helpful in suggesting comfortable seating. Good 5$ sausage and peppers, 5$ draught Heineken. Good choice of other beers. Nice choice of food options at reasonable prices(for a stadium). Regular family specials such as $40 for admission for 4, 4 dogs, 4 sodas and I think 4 popcorn or such. Memorail day had special-$50 for admission for 4 AND all you can eat barbeque. Always clean and well maintained and very fan friendly.

Love the family atmosphere!!! Always have a good time with the kids!! Food is good for the price!! Just really enjoy the place!!!

It was a busy night at the ballpark, there was other events going on and getting to the field and in the parking lot was a bear. I ended up being parked behind the left center field wall. Get there early!!! Once inside it is a great minor league ballpark concession prices are reasonable and seats are great!!

Visiting Rocky and his pal's has quickly become an annual summertime visit with our family. Wonderful place to bring the kids ( they have a kids fun zone, with bouncy houses, etc). Tasty foods and great ball games. They usually have fireworks on fridays, but check their schedule online. Very friendly staff and clean bathrooms!

Sure, it's not as big or fancy as the re-done Norwich stadium, but there's a real home-town feel to this ballpark. I like the touch of the field-size barbecue pitl

A bunch of friends and I took the kids to a game last season.Total group of @12.Ticket prices are very affordable. Drink and food prices are reasonable also.

New Britain Rock Cats-SO much fun. I don't even like baseball and I love to go to the games. At $5.00 a ticket and a hot dog and drink that are also cheap, you can catch a game cheaper than going to a movie these days. The marketing group makes going to the park. They also have a night called "Bark in the Park" where you can bring your dog and sit in the stands with a whole bunch of other dogs and their owners. SO MUCH FUN!
