My husband and I enjoyed the fresh air and the abstract sculptures. Free and open to the public it's a nice addition to the Old Lyme art scene. Will return again for newer installments.

Gil Boro is an incredible artist and person. We have visited his sculptor ground quite a few times, by ourselves, with visiting family, and shown guests as well. Simply put both the site and the sculptor are treasures. He adds stature to our community.We feel blessed to have one of his sculptures. It is always a pleasure to enter that room and see it anew.You will be enriched by visiting this extraordinary place.

On 4.5 acres in the historic town of Old Lyme, CT, Gilbert Boro renowned sculptor, architect has created a garden of 60 abstract sculptures which also features works of other famous sculptors. He uses a variety of materials in his creations, steel, wood, granite, aluminum. The lovely landscaped grounds on the Lieutenant River are open everyday from 9 to 5 all year long. The studio is open by appointment. Children are welcomed. Our grouped packed a picnic lunch which we enjoyed after the walk among the large sculptures.
