Loved this tour. Not too long and drawn out. Lasted about 1:30 total. Relaxing and beautiful with some history added for effect. Really enjoyed it.
These caverns are close to New Market Va and have many beautiful formations. Traveling off season is a great advantage as the tour groups are small and you learn much more.
There wasn't much color in the walls. I would pass on these caverns and go to the Luray caverns instead. The tour was about 1.5 hours and you need a jacket and shoes good for slippery spots.
We was at Shenandoah Caverns in the morning and came to endless for the 2pm tour we got lucky and had a private tour with our guide David who was very nice and had a lot of knowledge about the caverns
We stayed here in the NASCAR RV Park. Nice area, very clean, and large sites with trees, strong 30 and 50 amp electric, water, and sewer. Very hilly so may want to request a lower site if walking is problem,Fire ring and picnic table at site. Clean restrooms. There is no cable and we could not get satellite dish to work with trees. there was a pool but weather was cool and did not swim.It is a relaxing place and felt safe. We did not tour the cave this trip. I think it was $13/person when at the campground. Maybe another time.We came in south of New Market off I81 and picked up 11 North. Did not have to take RV through town and the turns there. Would stay here again.
My husband and I spent 5 wonderful days at this attraction. We stated at there on site campground and it is one of the best we have ever stated at. The sites are large with plenty of room to spread out. The actual caverns were also wonderful. We took the tour and had a wonderful tour guide. The cavern is very very rustic and we loved it.....
We camped the labor day weekend at the Endless Caverns Resort and loved it! It is located on the side of the mountain so most spaces are shaded. The only downfall for us was probably the lack of internet service/cable. Although this is not a necessity for most it is for me as I work while camping! I knew this in advance so it did not interfere with my work schedule. Its a very peaceful campground with very friendly staff! Some campground "rangers" make you feel like you are being monitored at all times but Endless Caverns was the exact opposite. They let you enjoy your time camping!! I would definitely recommend this campground and we plan on going again in the future.
We took the last tour of the day, so there was only one other couple with two small children in our group. Our tour guide, Christina, was very informative and provided plenty of information along the way. The path was wet in places from a recent rain and quite slippery in spots, but still navigable. The whole tour took about and hour and is well worth the money to tour this underground masterpiece.
I had a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable. He made it very entertaining and I learn a lot while getting the tour. He was so nice to my daughter and easy going . He showed us extra part of the cave, which made us feel special. We would go there again. I was nervous about the walk but I did not realized it was over because it was fun. I was jealous of everybody at the camp site and the pool look so nice. The store had cute items and it was less then luray cavern , plus it was not crowded. Loved it.
Even if you've already seen nearby Luray Caverns, these caverns are different enough to make them worth seeing too. Our guide made our trip through this underground marvel worthwhile and informative. Their reasonably-priced campground is excellent and is able to provide modern hook-ups and can accommodate even the biggest recreational vehicles.
off beaten path, and little rustic, great guide, very friendly and lot of knowledge. long hard walk but worth the effort what a great world to see
We bypassed some of the other better-known cavern tours since we wanted to see as natural a cave as possible, without colored lights and nice smooth floors. Endless Caverns fit the bill perfectly! Our tour guide, Justin, was wonderful, and as a caver himself was able to tell us about many of the features that were not on the tour, and was able to fully explain how the formations were formed. This is a tour that you are going to work for, though. Steep uneven steps, slippery handrails, rough floors - you know you are in a natural cavern and not a tourist trap. Wear good shoes! We had two very young boys (3 and 6) in out tour group and even they thought the tour was great, especially the acoustics while they were singing! :)The caverns are beautiful and well worth a visit.
We took the guided tour of the caverns and glad we did. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and pleasant. If you are in the area or just passing through, you have to stop here.
The cave was beautiful and the guide was very nice and informative. This is one of the better caves we have been to.
Endless Caverns is a delight to see! My husband and I were warmly welcomed at the site. Our tour guide, Faye did an excellent job in describing the details of the history of the cavern. What impressed us the most was the entertainment after climbing a flight of stairs and took a break at the "Cathedral Room". This is a "must see" if you are visiting the area!
