We bought the package with golf and unlimited food and nonalcoholic beverages and it is definitely worth it. Staff there was very friendly and the food is very good. The jalapeño hotdogs were awesome. Course condition is very good given it's February. I do wish they have a tee box for around 5500 yards though. The 4700 yards was too short for me but over 6000 yards was too much for me. Pace of play is very good as well. Although this is a public course, we felt like we were in a private county club. We will be back.

This isn't a theme park, it's a great golf course and facility. I've golfed here a number of times, at charity events, and regular golf. Very well organized, a great clubhouse with good food and bar. They have great senior deals and you can have an experience that includes all food beverages and golf. Pro shop is big and well stocked. The course plays hard, but is playable at every tee box, but importantly it plays at a four hour pace.

For a public course not sure it was worth 200.00 to play. Because of cooler weather the fairways were brown. The tee boxes were in horrible shape. The driving range was mostly dirt. The greens were okay. The plus side to spending that much was free food and drinks( non alcohol). And special VIP package where for an extra 10.00 you got 100.00 credit towards pro shop. Would go back to play in prime season to see if course is in better shape. Staff was very friendly and courteous

Always in immaculate shape, Cowboys seems worth the extra ($200!!! per round) money you'll spend. Most people are golfing on deals, however, and half price t times are readily available on the internet.A very challenging and beautiful golf course, Cowboys also entertains with interesting tidbits of Dallas Cowboys memories along the course.Overall, just a fantastic course.

A nice laid course, can be a little noisy when the DFW a airplane tragic is overhead. Pricey but they take care of you.

Was in town and had to golf here. Had an early tee time, not as cowboys themed as I had hoped but definitely worth it. Everything was top notch and was memorable for sure!

I went there 2 weeks in a row, and they have the best service.Little pricey, but you get your money's worth here. The tee boxes were under construction so some of the holes were shorter than on the scorecard. Some of the greens had rough patches, but overall kept in great condition.

We attended a family wedding there. The staff was mannerly. The food at the seated reception was very good, ample portions and served deftly, but I was unable to learn if it was made onsite or catered from an outside vendor. One of our party opted to have a martini at the bar and the all female bartenders were all clueless as to how to mix a martini and had to consult a book. It seemed an odd wedding venue as they still had golf foursomes the day we were there; sweaty golfers enjoying their 19th hole refreshments and cigars in the same area as wedding photos and guests mingling. But it was an enjoyable afternoon/evening and the staff did well with the various aspects of managing the event.

Got a special deal to play the course. The list price is very high, even with the food and drinks included. We ate a reasonable breakfast in the restaurant. Hit some balls on the practice range (included in price) and were ready to go. The course has a mix of long and average length holes and adequately punishes you for bad shots with tree lined fairways, sand, and water. I found the sand much more than normal on the day I played. Most of the bunkers were deep and full of sugar sand. The pace of play was slow, even with me finding so much trouble, we were waiting between every shot except our putts. Take lots of cash to tip the beverage cart girl, the hot dog vendor girl, the club cleaner and cucumber mango towel girl, and whoever else is there providing service on the course and in the restaurant. Take your credit card if you like purchasing mementos from pro shops.

The course was very nice and challenging. Lots of sand and seemed that I was always finding it. The course was in great shape and beautiful. We had about 7 holes left and it was very hot and no breeze and the girls in the drink carts gave us Mango towels that felt good on the face and neck and got us through the last holes. I would recommend this course.

Played the course twice in a two day span, and truly enjoyed the experience. However, for this caliber of golf course to have greens in this poor of shape in May is alarming. In 36 holes I did not get a true roll on one green. Before I would play this course again I would like to see the greens in better shape. The staff and food were absolutely great, and the food and non-alcoholic drinks being included in the green fee is a nice touch.

The Pro Staff was great and the golf course was in good shape. The Rolling Hills around the course were very senic also,

We (foursome) played this course on Sunday, April 6, 2014, 53°F (11.6°C), light drizzle to rain for the entire round. (We love golf, don't mind challenging conditions.) Cart path only golf. Dallas Cowboys themed course (even the golf carts have the scripted names of former Cowboy Greats). (For the record, I am a Green Bay Packer fan.) The course is beautiful, well conceived and will challenge most, dependent on tee box selection. Fairways and greens were in impeccable shape! Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included with your round. Price tag is about $185, which is close to commensurate with the services included. Food at on-course snack shack was good. Staff was very amicable upon arrival. The only unfavorable detail that we experienced was after completing an agreeable round of golf, the staff was far less than efficient with regard to the care of our clubs and, their hospitality. Something that I would never expect from the Cowboys Golf Club. (It were as if they didn't want to be there.) With regard to pure golf and playing the course, I would definitely consider returning here, but not completely convinced because of our lackluster post round hospitality.

I like the concept, especially the no nickel & dime with food. Descent breakfast, lunch & snack shack. The waitress in the restaurant was bubbly & fun.The course itself is tough! Some very difficult holes. It is a bit pricey but worth it. There weren't a lot of people on the course so it made it that much better.

If you absolutely hate the Cowboys, you might want to skip this course as you receive a healthy dose from the minute you pull into the parking lot. If you are a fan, can tolerate them, or just don't care, then try and play here. I was able to play for $100, which did include all of the on course food and non-alcoholic drinks you could handle, and it was also unlimited play. Sadly, it poured for hours before hand, making for a very long round, so we only played 18. I do recommend paying the extra money ($12?) for the all you can eat in the club house, too. (Great French Toast)The course itself is in wonderful shape, and will challenge you. Loved hole #17, and par-3 uphill and over two creeks. Hole #3 with its 75-yard wide, sloping green is also a tough par-3. Hole #4 has a beautiful view from the elevated tee. You're paying Jerry for the rights to play here, otherwise, they could knock a few bucks off the cost and bring me back. You do get what you pay for, if you are willing to pay the nearly $200.
